Replacement Metal Mechanism Bolt, La-Z-Boy Compatible

This is a quality replacement for the cheap plastic that lazy boy uses. Does not come with nuts. Buy 8 mm 1.0 fine thread plastic insert locking nuts. Use a couple of small C clamps to lock the mechanism in place before removing old plastic nuts and screws. It is a big help.

The old bolts wore out on the recliner foot rest. These fit exactly. I don’t know if it’s right, but I put some grease on the slide points to help them from wearing. Foot rest works just fine. Originally, they were supposed to arrive in like a week and a half, they came USPS in about 4 or 5 days, I was happy with that.

I was a little disappointed that there was no nut provided. Fortunately I saved the old part.

It was very expensive, but when you need it, you need it. It is the exact right part.

Excellent comment written by other post re: measuring the part before you buy. I DID measure, found the part was an exact replacement, so I was able to repair the vintage lazy-boy recliner foot mechanism. KEEP the nut. The part doesn't include the nut. You must have the nut.
