Bon voyage! Level 2, Student Edition (GLENCOE FRENCH) 1st Edition

Okay book for learning 2nd year French in school. The pictures are somewhat outdated but adequate. The main pitfall is that you have to go to the dictionary found at the back of the book to located the English translation if the picture is unclear. Our French teacher does not like the dialect of the French speakers for the listening exercises found on the CD. They are annoying and speak very fast with hyper realistic conversation examples including background sounds and real outdoor extraneous noise.

As a grandmother studying French along with her grandson, I find this text easy to you. The material is pertinent to today's youth, and the French culture is interesting and well-presented.
