They arrived in good condition, wrapped tightly with bubble wrap. The size and shape are perfect, holding a nice amount of soy or other sauce. Not shallow at all. I really like these sauce dishes

Everyone who sees them have ordered a set for themselves. They are very pretty and affordable. I use them daily and the color holds up really well when washed in the dishwasher. Also they are not delicate. I dropped one and it was ok. No chips. I wouldn’t recommend you drop them but they are pretty sturdy and can take a little rough treatment.

These Japanese style (ceramic) dishes are so pretty. You get a set of 8 dishes (6 white and 2 pink). Each is decorated with cherry blossoms (in either pink, blue or white). They are perfect to use during a Japanese styled dinner party or book club meeting (For example, I recommended Memoirs of a Geisha by Author Golden and planned to serve sushi. These are perfect and fitting.). They are stackable which is great when you consider storage. In terms of maintenance, I would suggest washing these by hand. In addition to using these to hold soy sauce, these would also work as a neat gift/giveaway. You could give a set (2) to a friend to be used as a trinket holder (i.e., earrings or rings). I’d recommend these.

These small soy sauce dishes are decently made for the price, and I like the cute design and colors. They arrived exactly as I expected: around 4” wide, able to hold around ¼ cup of liquid at most. All the colors arrived as pictured, except that the gray dishes were a shade darker than pictured. The dishes are fairly lightweight for their size – not too heavy. The ceramic is slightly textured due to the spotted glaze, especially the design in the middle. I immediately ran them through the dishwasher and they came out just fine (love that these are dishwasher safe!). Mostly, I have been using them to hold toppings or condiments like chopped green onions or soup croutons. With the variety of colors in this set, these dishes can likely complement many dish patterns. Ultimately, a well-made set of small dishes if you like this set.

The media could not be loaded. These ceramic soy sauce dishes hold a good amount of soy sauce, it is wide and shallow so it’s easy to dip dumplings 🥟 in it and take it out. They are a very pretty set with different colors to match your dishes. I like to also use it to rest my chopsticks, the curved design of the petals on the dishes allows the chopsticks to rest without rolling over, this eliminates the need to also use a chopsticks rest for your dining experience.

We love Asian food and were always using a hodgepodge of dishes for dipping sauces or Korean bbq sides. These are great little dishes. Big enough to hold small amounts of things like pickled ginger or small Korean bbq sides. And not too tiny to only hold a tiny bit of soy sauce. They wash well in the dishwasher and feel well made. Super cute and we love them!

This review is for the Ceramic Japanese and Korean Style Side Dishes Set of 8. These dishes are just the perfect size, and weight, and neatly stack on themselves. They have a simple but intricate design that is pleasing to the eye. I used the side dish to mix a little soy sauce with some wasabi, and it was the perfect size for my Sushi. They are easy to wash, and very durable, I recommend.
