Love this mix for pancakes and more.
My reviews of the following Betty Crocker Mixes for GLUTEN FREE:~~~Gluten Free Brownie MixI love these gluten free brownie mixes. I have made them several times now. Even did two mixes for a 9 x 13 pan. And put coconut on one end of the pan, then butterscotch chips on part of the pan and added a few more chocolate chips to it as well. Have had a few friends and family test them and they say they taste very good and can't tell that they are gluten free which I love the most since I have tried the Brownies and like them better than the Gluten Free Devils food cake mix. Would recommend.~~~The Gluten Free Devils Food cake mixDoes not taste very chocolatey as I think it should, it tasted very bland. The 2nd time I made the Devils Food cake mix I added some chocolate chips and it tasted better. Needs some help for the chocolate taste to be there.~~~The Gluten Free Chocolate Chip Cookie MixIt is very good, have made them as cookies and put them in bar form and added a few more chocolate chips. For a cookie they taste close to the normal. Would recommend.~~~~The Gluten Free Bisquick Mix (Pancakes and Baking Mix)I have used this for pancakes and they are very yummy, even my niece liked them. I am very happy with this and would recommend. Just wished there was more mix in the box for what you pay for it.~~~~The Gluten Free Yellow cake mixI have not tried this mix but it is on my list to try.~~~~Being Gluten Free because of being diagnosed with Celiac Disease has been very expensive. I am happy that I can get the cases of these products on Amazon for cheaper that at the stores near me. Saving me money buying online.Thank you Amazon and Betty Crocker.

Life saver!! Best ever gluten-free option!
I could not live (or bake) without this product!! I use it for bread, piecrust, pizza, waffles, pancakes, biscuits, shortcakes, coffee cake, pumpkin bread, lemon poppy seed bread.....you get the picture! I am sensitive to wheat, corn and tapioca, so this potato starch/rice flour blend is it for me! Fortunately I have figured out ways to use it that allow it to be my one size fits everything gluten free option. The best part, hubby and friends who are not gluten free can't tell my food is. They love it, too! My best trick is a jelly roll pan bread recipe that ends up just like regular bakery bread without the rise and can be used for grilled cheese sandwiches and tomato soup, my ultimate comfort food and one of the things I missed most from my previous life!! This product is wonderfully forgiving to the experimental cook and I have never had a complete failure with it, only new discoveries!! I love this stuff!! It is not grainy and if you double up the oil and eggs, it's wonderfully moist and still performs great. I am going on six years gluten-free and 3 years corn free and could never have done it without Bisquick!! LOVE you guys!! Love your product!!

Pleasantly Surprised
This was a nice surprise. My son is autistic and self-limits his diet. We are doing as much gluten-free and organic stuff as possible, as well as non-GMO (this product is neither on my non-GMO nor Organic list, so I am still searching for a similar mix that meets those criteria as well as being gluten-free. I don't really know if there are organic baking mixes. I have to do more research on that and just haven't had time.) It is challenging to try something new, because my son has issues with textures and colors when it comes to food, as well as the food itself. He's used to regular biscuits, so this was a gamble, especially because gluten-free mixes are expensive and this is no exception. The 3 pack contains 3 very small boxes and I was a tad disappointed in the size for the price. However, my son liked the biscuits just as much as he likes the ones I make from regular Bisquick. The texture is similar, not exactly the same as regular, which is true with most gluten-free products, and they tasted good. I always dab my dough with butter before baking, so that might be why my son liked them. I tried one and I liked it, too. Be aware that this mix does require shortening, which the regular Bisquick does not require, as well as the milk and eggs that the regular mix requires. I did not know that and I don't use shortening (ugh .. lard) so I substituted organic butter for the shortening, plus I modified the recipe to use organic coconut milk and organic eggs. I got lucky that everything worked. I didn't really measure the butter, just melted some and added it with the recommended amounts of milk and eggs. I did not do the "spoon drop" recommended by the instructions. I rolled out the dough and made round biscuits, so they'd look the same as the regular biscuits. If you know anyone with autism, you know they don't accept change well. My son would not eat a biscuit that looked like a little baked blobby thing.I will buy this product again, unless I find something else that is tasty and meets all three of the criteria on my baking mix wish list. (I use mixes sometimes because baking from scratch takes more time, which is something I don't have much of these days. Plus I admit that I am not the best baker. So glad that gluten-free mixes are becoming more affordable and tasting better.)
