Holy heck I didn't know I would be installing the sun in my cabin! These were a huge upgrade on my BRZ and both the cabin light and the trunk light was an extremely easy plug and play, only requiring you pop out the plastic lense with a small screw driver. Only reason I am knocking off a star is because the cabin light rests on the clear plastic diffuser/lense and the thing gets HOT. I am uncomfortable leaving this on for more than a few minutes. It might be worth it to leave the plastic lense off so it can get some air, or at least put some sort of spacer in there so the LED's don't rest on the diffuser/lense.That being said it's worth it, the cabin light is rarely on for very long and the extra light is a clear upgrade

I like the fact that this kit has 2 bulbs, the Cabin Overhead as well as the trunk. On the BRZ, the trunk is a drop in fit. The Cabin Bulb was a bit more work since it's not a drop in bulb and there are no instructions included. For the Cabin bulb, if you use the included adapter you can attach it and free up the wires on the other end. Then wrap the exposed wire around each of the light contacts and wrap electrical tape around each one. Once the tape is on, place the original bulb back in. The electrical tape keeps the old bulb from contacting the contacts and the bulb puts pressure on the contacts holding them in place. The cabin light is definitely bright! The Trunk light isn't as amazing (looks slightly brighter with a cooler color). I bought this for the Cabin light, so the trunk light was just a plus. Photos are of car in a completely dark garage with only the LED lights on. I'm not seeing any Cel codes. Overall installation for me was about 20 minutes.

The media could not be loaded.  Received them today and installed immediately. Nicely designed and straight forward installation. As others stated, there is a very small flat area to stick it. On the housing. I had to put a little height on one side to place it on. Worked out great! Once you put the cover on it’s very solid. I also taped the connection. How is the light? It’s incredible! Very bright with a nice bluish taste. With my Blue BRZ “Minnos” it stands out perfect. Please check the video and pictures. The little flickering seen in the video is NOT what it is in real! There is no flickering. Tested minimum 20 times. Will update if it happens. How is the trunk light? Forget about it! Useless... stock is way better :)

Yes, they are LED's, so they will be bright. It lights up all the interior, which helped with the black interior in my Toyota 86.I works with the dimming from opening doors and parking. When driving at night it is a big visual change when it comes on. I left it on when looking for something for about 10 minutes and the plastic that covers the dome light was medium to hot to the touch. Might be how close its mounted to it or the space behind it not allowing it to dissipate heat. I doubt it would get hot enough to damage surrounding materials. It comes with 3m tape already attached to the back.

Super bright. But lavender in color. If you align it correctly it looks stock. I ended up ordering some gel to make it white and not purple. (3 layers of Lee 246 which is a 1/4 plus green gel and this is what worked) I can still afford to lose some brightness as it is too bright to turn on while driving. It's still cool and bright, just was not at all white.

Burned my fingers when I installed it cause I was dumb and had the existing light on for a while before switching to the new one. BUT aside from my mistake this is a great upgrade! A lot more light/visibility at night with this. It came with a bunch of adapters and self-adhesive on the back.

I don't write many reviews, but this product is worth mentioning. I have purchased over a dozen different LEDs for ny cars, have enjoyed them, but they are almost never as bright as listings make them out to be.I recently purchased a small dome light panel for my BRZ. It worked, looked like an LED should, but wasn't near as bright as stock. So I started doing some research and found this. Wow, super easy installation, direct plug and play. My car wows every person that sees it from now on. If your looking for maximum light output, DO NOT waste your time on other bulbs, this product is what you need
