Bad Quality Control.
I'm a fair man. If a product deserves a good review I'll give it 5 stars. Check my other feedback. This pen however, despite how cheap it was does not. The nib is a good 2mm to 3mm to the left of centre of the finger grips. Meaning when you hold it, the nib is no way near central. Contacted czxwyst pen store-uk and was told to live with it, and if I wanted better quality I should have spent more money, and bought something else. 🤦♂️That is standing by your product for you. 🤣😂 I'll keep it and practice fine tuning the nib with it.

Incredible value for money
I'd read reviews of the Jinhai X450 pens on various sites and Youtube where the pen was praised for being a great "beginner" fountain pen. I ordered this because it looked nice in the photo, but wondered if it would be "cheap" in appearance, feel and use. I am blown away by this pen. It writes like butter - so much smoother than the disposable fountain pens I've been using. The construction is beautiful. Although the materials used to make this must be cheap given the price of the pen, it doesn't feel cheap. Some people have remarked in other reviews that the pen is heavy. It is substantial and feels like it is made from a good quality metal. I like that. If you don't like a heavy pen, this is probably not for you. If you do then I can recommend this pen. It is a bargain. I love it.

Beautiful pen
This pen I have bought as a present but I do have three of these pens myself. They are a quality pen and solid construction, it is a thick pen and heavy but that is what I like. The most important factor is they glide across the page. I also like the fact they come with an ink converter which is a large capacity and means I can use different colour ink, I much prefer using bottled ink as it is more economical and eco friendly than using cartridges so less plastic too. I fully recommend this writing instrument.

If it lasts forever
If this pen can last forever, it may be the only pen you'll need (or want). It has a sublime, deep green colour, almost black in certain light. It is neither too big nor too small, holds comfortably in the hand with enough weight to let you enjoy the feel of a pen in your hand without making you tired of holding it. Then, when you write, the medium nib glides smoothly, exerting a gentle, easy flow of ink (I filled it with the Iroshi Kon Peki ink) and the pen just does your bidding and makes you feel like a draftsman, a writer, an artist.

was not expecting this..
Okay, i really was not expecting this. For under a tenner, a fountain pen.I have not used one in years but have not put it down since i bought it (over 2 months ago now I think). In Fact I recommended it to a friend and she also bought one. She is a big ink pen user and said its fine, nothing compared to her daily writer but also likes hers. For me it doesn't leak, writes really well, looks awesome, is easy to refill, in other words, does what it says on the tin. It does sometimes dry out if I leave the cap off for a while but Im not educated enough to say if this is a pen issue, an ink issue or a general issue with all ink pens. I do love writing with it. There has been no change to the body (chipping, cracking, rusting) at all but to be fair i am careful with it. It does sometimes feel gritty when writing but i still have not put it down.I wanted to buy a second one but why? if anyone can think of a reason let me know. I would buy another if I lost it or broke it somehow. Was it worth it, absolutely. Only moan was it arrived in a plastic bag in the large amazon box so I was lucky i guess. If you want it as a present for someone, you need to get a box. Also it looks way more expensive up close also. FYI I see some people had bad luck with twisted or misaligned tips, thats a risk worth considering, I have not had that issue.

Great Value Fountain Pen
Purchased as a leaving gift for a work college this pen was a great value fountain pen that looked better and cost less than in-store supermarket options available to me.The GoodLooked greatBuilt-in ink pumpWrites superblyThe BadLack of presentation boxThe pen looked good and felt premium enough when given as a small gift. The pen had a glossy finish and print. The ink pump built into the pen was very easy to use and worked well despite me never using one before. Writing with the pen felt smooth and looked very professional. The only downside was that it was delivered in a clear plastic poly bag that made it look cheap. If it was delivered in a pen box or gift box it would be receiving 5 stars.

Liked it so much, I bought another... or two
Already had some Jinhao X450s which I really liked, but wasn't sure about the indentation and ribbing for the fingers on the grip, so tired out an X750, which is similar to the x450 (in terms of type-of-pen), but lighter, and w/o the grip feature. The x750 is a nice pen, but the casing is starting to wear through where the cap is posted during writing. So - obviously - needed a new x450. My "Green ice" is quite dark - it's more black than green under the lighting where I sit, but it shows up well under stronger light - which I kind of like it. It writes smoothly and well, though I wish Jinhao would up the availability of other nib types (without the "bent" variety - of which there are many). It's a numbe 6 nib type. I've tried other #6 nibs (not Jinhao's), however, the curvature around the feeder has not been the same, so, where I've pursued fitting it in, it's taken a bit of tweaking.All-in-all, exceptional value for money.

Brilliant Value, Only One (Minor) Issue
I absolutely love this pen. It feels like it should cost a hundred times more than it does. Real quality feel and appearance. My only minor complaint is that it doesn't post very well (the cap doesn't affix very securely to the barrel when writing). If you shove it on really hard it's ok, but it's not a reassuring fit. Only a minor qualm though. Fantastic value.
