As a 75-year-old male, it is no surprise (like so many men) that I have enlarged prostate issues. I decided to try this Prostarex supplement rather than the prescription drug that a urologist wanted to prescribe to ease my urinary tract issues (difficulty urinating, urge to urinate after urinating, emptying bladder, getting up at night). After almost four months (four bottles) on this supplement, I would say my situation is improved but not perfect.My stream when urinating appears stronger. Urge to urinate after urinating occurs less often and emptying bladder per urination is better. I still get up at night one to three times (rarer) but that also appears to depend on water intake post 6pm (less probably makes bathroom trips less frequent).As for taking this supplement, before meals I chew a cracker, then add the capsule and down it with about 8 ounces of water. I struggle to take capsules or large pills without food.I found some relief after about one month but would say you need to allow two months of use to decide if this helps you. I plan to stay on this supplement if my situation does not worsen. I got two bottles to start and six (much cheaper to purchase) after my initial purchase.
