Made Easy Work of Shortening a Chain
I have an old saw with a hard to find exact replacement chain. I found a longer chain and shortened it by grinding out links and reconnecting the chain with these links. The links were easy to install on the chain and I simply used a 4lb sledge to lock the rivets in.

Worked perfect with oregon 3/8 E70 chains!
These straps and rivets worked perfect for my two oregon chains i had to shorten. They even match the square shape of the actual oregon links, one of my chains was old and stretched and I want to squeeze a little more life out of it and the other was a new E70 chain that I bought that was too long. Did some light duty trimming with the old chain and had no issues. Great product for a great price!
