Great lens and adapter.
Well made, but: 1. You need to work the hinge several times to loosen it up. The hinge is very tight to start with. 2. With the mounting screws directly across from each other, the mount will wiggle when the lens is moved away. If you do use the hinge more than a few times, it will pop off. Needs a little design refinement to be a great product.

Works well, but check the fit first
I bought this for my Gopro Hero 5 Black. Unfortunately it didn't fit too well on that camera model, but after 3D printing a spacer it works great for getting up close shots. I have it set up for taking video of my CNC milling machine cutting surface.

No difference with or without lens
not sure where the "macro lens" part comes in. The photos looked the same with the lens as without. Also not waterproof in the slightest, so wasted money on this item.
