Someone actually invented a better mousetrap! We live in the middle of the desert, where these rotten little packrats like to invade. Just in a couple weeks we've caught 3 big packrats and a BUNCH of mice. Being a bit clumsy, I really appreciate the fact that it's nearly impossible to hurt yourself with these! Highest recommendation.

Didn't catch the mole I was after, but it seems like it would be good for catching rats or mice.

This HUMANE trap/cage is ideal for capturing little critters (and then relocating :) . Although we have not caught the little varmint(s) that have been dining on our carrots, irises and other garden delicacies (we believe they are gophers)...... we have caught a few little field mice and relocated them to open fields far from our home. We have two cats who are excellent hunters but the mice we captured with our humane trap will live another day :) Hopefully we will capture the gophers that are enjoying our garden vegetables soon; we LIKE the design of this cage. It is VERY SIMPLE to set up and is durable.

Have been using this and it is the Best Mouse Trap ever designed. It has a 100% Catch Rate so far.

This live captured trap is great. There is a rat living in my house and I can't kill anything or can't use poison since it may hurt my dog. On the other hand, I hate dealing with the smell of decaying rat. So the cage trap is my best choose. It's very easy to set and very effective as I have already caught the rat. I used peanuts as bait, I put the peanuts outside the cage and put some inside the cage.

I like the product. Please know it's only big enough for 1 squirrel. I use it to catch squirrels on my deck so they dont dig up my flower pots. I take them to a park by my work and turn them loose. It's easy to release them also. Plus, it hasn't rusted in the couple of months that it's been outside. Easy to use and worth the money.

Although this trap is advertised for trapping and relocating squirrels, it is MUCH too lightweight to contain a squirrel for any length of time. I have attached a photo of my cage after a squirrel had been in it for less than two hours....it chewed the wire and broke the mechanism in order to escape. Although the price of this trap is attractive, it is worthless if the animal can destroy it so easily. I got to relocate one squirrel before this happened.... terrible value!

I used this product to trap chipmunks which were overrunning our garden, and I liked that it did the job without harm to the animals captured with it. Bonus: our preschool grand kids were intrigued by the operation, and seeing the chipmunk up close. In addition to chipmunks, a squirrel or two, and a mourning dove were captured. Squirrels were very hard on the structure; the chipmunks did no harm to it. All chipmunks were released safely into the park on other side of the river. One fatality unfortunately: we failed to check the trap contents often one very very hot day, and the immature chipmunk inside was comatose--we released it under the shade in hopes it may have come around.

I wrote a positive review regarding design prior to deploying this trap. Should have waited for a result. The trap caught a gopher last night but it easily clawed a hole in the wire mesh at the top corner of the door and escaped. The spot welding was totally poor. While the design is great it can't stand up to the critters claws. Assembly is sub standard. I'll be returning this product. Do not buy this product.

Aucune solidité, pas du tout pour les écureuils... Peu être avec les rats... Et encore... C'est très petit! J'aurais dû regarder les grandeurs plutôt que de lire seulement la description. Le système est mauvais...les souris tant qu'à elles..ne sont peut-être pas assez lourdes pour déclencher le système... Vraiment inutile!

Had squirrels in my attic. Used a bit of peanut butter on that bait plate and sunflower seeds. Caught the little guy and relocated just across the street in a wooded area, long enough for me to close the attic hole. Highly recommend, very humane.
