Great model from the past!
I'm 68 years old heading for 10. I have started buying models I built in the early 1960's. A friend had a model of this rocket and I really liked it. Now I have one. I am presently building a Glencoe/Strombecker Space Ferry and a Dick Track Tracy Space Coupe.

Surprised
I expected the kit to be at least molded in white plastic. I have never encountered a kit all in clear plastic. Also I am not thrilled that the body is divided in thirds with the instructions recommending holding the first two sections together with rubber bands while cementing. We will see how the build goes. No complaints about the retailer.

The Disney / TWA rocket
I don't own this, but I'm a retro rocket buff and I just wanted to say that this is the Disneyland rocket from their moon landing ride. They had an actual mock-up at the entrance to the ride, it was like four stories tall or so, and it had TWA (Trans World Airlines) across the top. Looked just like this model. Pretty cool stuff.
