The cliffnotes of casebooks
Law students I highly recommend you get this for your casebook readings. Each of these is written to the casebooks and whichever one you use must be specified when ordering because not all casebooks are the same. This has been immensely helpful to me when I am pressed for time. I also compare it to what I have and the text. I recommend it to anyone with a busy schedule.

All of these books are critical for EVERY class. Will cut down your reading time so you can focus more on the important things like outlines!

Great book
This has been incredibly helpful when briefing cases. Of course I brief on my own and then use this to "check my work."

Good for starting a brief
If a instructor has been teaching for any length of time, they've heard the same briefs over and over. So using a 'canned' brief will ensure you get put on the spot as someone who didn't read the assignment. However, these briefs are a good starting point; will a few extra details and rule adjustments (the rule should be different than the issue), this is a worthwhile investment in time management. Also, the pull-out quick reference cards are a good outline refresher. I bought the whole 1L series about 6 weeks in, and my briefing time has gone down dramatically.
