Rustic 8.5x11 Wooden Picture Frame, Handmade with Real Birch Bark, Photo Frame Natural

Bought this for Fathers Day to put my Granddaughters picture in it. Grandpa loved it. Goes great with his decor.

The ad states it's a wood frame. It's not. It's a composite material that appears to be of plastic or similar with birch veneer pieces glued to the surface. That's the only complaint I have. I figured this was the case but I wanted to see for myself. So if you are looking for an actual wooden frame, this is not it. If you don't care what the frame material is and just care about the wood "look", then this will suffice. Structure is made well enough and it's serviceable for what I need. If it was real wood structurally, then it would be well worth the money.

I got this as a Father's Day gift for my husband, to display a drawing our son did. From the pictures I thought it looked beautiful. But come to find out, it's not solid wood, and it started to flake. It was too close to Father's Day so I glued it, but it peeled off anyway. Definitely need to handle with care!

I opened up the package and literally gasped in a good way because the front of the frame is gorgeous! The wood is beautiful and textured and it’s kinda heavy and durable. So the quality of the front definitely impressed me. However I turned it over to inspect the back because I bought a frame before this that had a couple screws loose. So I am now inspecting the whole frame. And I noticed these two marks that someone decided to cover with a sharpie. Did you think you were slick? I’ve worked in retail I’ve seen lazy people do this before, but man I was so disappointed. This was a gorgeous frame. Don’t do the frame dirty like that :( I guess I’ll reach out to customer service to see what they say. So sad.UPDATE: I contacted the seller the same day and they replied to me in minutes letting me know that they would either do a full refund or sent a replacement. I picked a replacement since I still love the frame. I’ll change my review once I get it :)

I ordered this for my brother who’s a nature lover because of the wood feature and the “manly” look and it looks awesome! Great quality and has a nice rustic feel.

Looks as pictured, with natural birchbark. The birchbark is glued onto a very basic standard frame underneath, but it’s the tarted-up front of the frame you are paying for, and I think it looks perfect for my little painting. Love it!

Really nice, rustic looking piece. I bought it for my cabin and it suits it well. It was a bit pricey but I'm happy with the purchase!
