Great for preventing blisters, not very durable
Ended up with holes in the toes after two uses. They served their purpose on a long hike, but they just aren’t durable.

Worked well for a recent 100k

Great for running but…
Great for running but it does look odd. Prevents rubbing between toes. A little more expensive than regular socks.

Good socks
This is an update from the first review. The socks are starting to wear out at the heal and I only use the socks at home with shoes or house shoes. Socks are only a few months old and the material is wearing out. The socks also are starting to fit a little tighter. I bought some more of the same socks same size and they fit better. The other con is that you are not suppose to hang dry these socks which seem a bit extreme given these socks can be used for hiking. On a through hike you have to hand wash and hang dry the socks. Injinji needs to look at the care label and make adjustments or take out on the description that these socks are good for hiking and laundering outdoors.

Much better (looser fit) than the non-wool Injinji socks. Actually wearable!
Way better than the non-wool Injinji socks! I wear a women's size 11 and have very very narrow feet (can fit into a 4a width shoe easily). I find that no matter what size I get in the non-wool Injinji socks, they are extremely tight, especially around the ankle, but also the whole sock in general. The toes are also too short for the non-wool socks and get all thin at the ends and look see-through immediately. These wool socks however are amazing! I got the men's large and they feet my very narrow women's size 11 feet perfectly! I have very long skinny toes and the toes on the socks are all long enough without needing to be stretched.I just got the socks so I can't say much about how they hold up over time. They do say to line-dry so keep that in mind if you are considering buying them. That's true for pretty much any wool item though. And to be clear, these are actually a wool-blend.I know that the color of an item online will differ depending on your monitor settings. That said, I still think that the color difference from the picture should be mentioned. The charcoal grey socks appear to be a completely different sock than the one pictured. There is even a design on the top of the foot which isn't pictured online at all. I *really* wanted a sock with a nude colored ankle, but the oatmeal isn't sold in the size large as of now. The charcoal is actually a dark grey around the ankle, and not a light cream like the picture shows.Anyways, I'm very happy with these socks so far as other Injinji socks are so tight that they are completely unwearable after 5 minutes. Keep making and selling these ones! And keep making and selling them in neutral colors!

Great but wear out too soon
I need toe socks to avoid blisters on long hikes and ultra runs. These work great for that, but unfortunately wear out too soon. I hope Injinji ups its game on sock durability.

Great socks for gym, walking, hiking, everything.
These are great! I have experience wearing toe socks from this brand (in non-wool) and also from Smartwool. I like toe shoes for the freedom of movement and to have a barrier against toe squish. Wool socks keep my feet dry, the right temperature, and don't blister. I like a thin sock like this most of the time. When it's really cold I'll add a thicker sock. I like these better than the Smartwools of similar weight. On these the fabric is smoother and more comfortable, and overall the foot is more shaped and snug in a good way. The design of the toes feels better too. No hot spots at the base of the toe. Also, I really like the top edge of these. It doesn't dig in, yet also doesn't slip down or move around. I am an aggressive fast walker and hiker, and often low cut socks scoot down my heel. Not these. I have worn these in loose shoes, tight shoes, and Birkenstocks with a heel strap. I also wear them to the gym where we run continuously up the stairs for 30 minutes (it's a treadmill made out of a stairway!). I wash these socks in cold in the washing machine and hang dry. They haven't shrunk.

Great socks, terrible durability
I love the overall comfort, lightweight construction, and that the socks stay on. I own several pairs. This pair now has a hole after four months of occasional use. I'm not sure if the quality is worse from Amazon, but I wish I had purchased from REI so I could return them. Lesson learned.

Sehr gute Laufsocke

Excellent!
I wore these during the Hoka Highland Fling and managed 40 miles (65km) in them without a single blister. Totally recommended for long runs,They're comfortable, fit my wide (very wide) feet and have no excess material. I've ordered more.
