i LOVE these shoes

I’m a die hard DC fan. Everyone always gave me crap about DC’s growing up because Ertnies or Osiris was better. Blah blah blah. But to the nay sayers I say don’t knock it until you try it!Ive worn many different kinds of skate shoes and these are just top notch in my opinion for what it’s worth.The color selection is probably one of the best because they understand not everyone needs or wants leopard print and funky styles. They keep it classic but still offer some fun unique limited edition styles.As far as quality goes, I’ve been able to milk these for well over a year. And by then, the only reason I’ve needed to replace them is because the inside sole was thin and I have a problem just replacing slip in soles. That’s my prerogative though. You could easily do that if that’s your thing. What I will say is these bad boys last and have outstanding quality. Naturally if you were to skate in them, their life would probably be cut in half but let’s face it. I’m much farther along in life than I’d like to admit so needless to say the only wear and tear they see is where these feet walk.Anywho, buy them or not. At least they’ve got my business.

Love the look & feel of the sneakers, I bought them for every day casual wear. Extremely happy with the product so far. Would recommend this product to anyone who likes the look of the DC skate shoe.

Well. Buying DC shoes has been quite the experience. Started out buying them recently from their website. I normally wear a size 14 in men's. Ordered some 14's. They were too small. None of the 50% off sale items were in my size. I ordered some high tops that were 30% off. Size 15. Got them and they were very snug. Figured what the hey , I'll make them work. Fast forward a couple weeks. I look on Amazon to see what DC shoes are available. I find these in a 15 and order them. Couple hours later I notice there is a size 16 available also. I decide to order that too. Got the 15's yesterday and they were pretty snug but were as doable as the high tops I bought. But the 16's got here today and they were perfect. So...DC's sizes are pretty off. Don't know if its because they originate in Vietnam or what. All I know is , I'm not happy with how they do their sizing but I'm happy with the 16's.

I'm not a skater, just a bloke who walks a lot and goes to bunch of standing concerts, and these are the only shoes I use daily. I have bought five pairs of this exact shoe so far (six if you count the one mishap in size), and it will be a sad day if DC ever discontinues this line. These are extremely comfortable to wear all year round (+30 celsius to -30 celsius), have a great grip on almost any surface from wet to dry to snow to ice, and generally last for one year in daily use. The sturdy heel part makes them easy to lace loose so that you can kick them in and out of your feet without ever bending over. Moreover, even if you lace them loose, they'll be very comfortable to walk in.The only problem is, as mentioned above, that the soles last for almost exactly one year before you have a hole on the balls of your feet. That is to be expected, though, since I wear these literally every day of the year, and walk at least 2 miles on any given day, often times way more.Bottom line is, these are the ONLY shoes I have ever owned where my feet never hurt, and these are the ONLY shoes I wish to own at least one pair until the day I die.

This purchase makes my third pair of this brand and style. I do a lot of walking and I wore my first pair thru the sole at the heel. The uppers are a good as new but with a little Shoe Goo they are still usable out in the garage in in the backyard. Ask the people at DC Shoes to add a little more material to the sole please. Other than that I think you will enjoy this product.

I did listen to the comments and for shore this black model need a half size bigger than your regularcomfort size, for instance I usually take one size more than my actual leg so I am 11.5 but now I did took 12 and it's the best size for this shoe... I was also warried regard the shoe being big and super chunky, but it isn't at list compared to my Adidas running shoes.Point to think about- this shoe is hot cuz its black and also because the cushions inside but still it's a very good shoe for the price for shore!
