This really useful selection of paint brushes are great value for money.They are soft and comfortable to hold.Unfortunately they are not up to decorators standard as they tend to shed bristles when you work.For the amount you get for the price I just use them for jobs where a perfect finish is not necessary and just throw them away when that job is finished.

Considering the amount of brushes you get this is excellent value for money, although you can seem to lose alot of stray bristles.

I had read other reviews which commented on the amount of bristles these brushes were dropping, but I thought I would give them a try, as I don't mind the odd bristle or two coming out at first use, and they are very cheap.However, as soon as I took them out of the package, it was apparent that there was was way more than just "one or two" bristles coming out.Having gently removed the worst of the loose bristles, you can see that the top edge of the brushes was still quite "fluffy" , which means there are more loose ones to come.I will probably only use these brushes for stuff like outdoor furniture, where it doesn't matter if bristles come out: single use then throw away.It's a pity, because they are a nice size: they are the only pack of 1½" brushes I could find for sale, and I particularly like that size.

Needed brushes to paint Hammerite stuff onto exterior railings and, as it's more or less impossible to clean the brushes, a cheap set of disposables seemed appropriate. These are fine and come in a ziplock bag. As you'd expect with cheapos the bristles do come out every so often, but that's OK for old railings. Because of this I wouldn't use them for indoor work or anything where you need a good finish, as you'll forever be picking the bristles out.Would buy again.
