One Piece, Vol. 14: Instinct

A MUST READ FOR ALL MANGA FANS, ONE PIECE FANS, ANIME FANS... btw I started watching One Piece anime before reading the Manga... I then decided to get the manga and read them. They are amazing :D

I got this as a Christmas gift for my friend and he said that he really enjoyed it. I don't like One Piece, so I can't tell you what this volume is about.

Worth a read, great series.

Volume 14 continues the Little Garden story arc. The giants are down, and Zoro, Vivi, and Nami have been captured by Mr. 3. It's up to Luffy to save them. But things are never so easy.I agree with the other review in that most of Luffy's crew don't do much in this volume. But for me, one of the highlights of Little Garden is that it creates a strong sense of danger and suspense that the series doesn't often generate. Usually, the bad guys are little more than annoying obstacles to whatever Luffy's main goal is. Here the threat feels real, and with half the crew about to be suffocated in wax, you know time is running out. Mr. 3 is one of the single most effective enemies in the series.We also get great character development. Usopp again shows a bit of cleverness that makes his battles so entertaining. And the volume's title "Instinct" refers to one of the best Luffy moments in the series.A great volume. So why did 4Kids skip it?

I have been following this story since a couple of years ago, I have read the translations and thisis one of the best mangas I have ever encountered, so if you are new to this manga, READ it, I recommend it, the story is AWESOME, eventhough the art is not the best, but the story and plot is one of the best.

The manga is great...however, the resolution on this KINDLE iPad version is very low. When compared to the same issue on the VIZ MANGA ipad app, the KINDLE version is blurry when you double tap. The Viz Manga version remains sharp on zoom. I had to return this one because of this. I recommend buying if they put out a higher resolution of the Kindle version.Sorry.

Meanwhile Nami, Zolo and Vivi are also captured by Baroque Works and Mr 3 begins turning them all into wax statues with only a trapped Luffy and a beaten-up Ussop can stop the process.Although I am not the greatest fan of the Little Garden arc, I did find this instalment of the One Piece manga to be quite entertaining. The battle between Luffy and the Candle Man Mr 3 was entertaining and there are the usual moments of humour mixed in with the action. Mr 3 himself isn't that great a character but he does have some interesting abilities and his partner Ms Golden Week is good.The volume is good and well worth around four stars.

One piece volume 14- Chapters 118 up to 126This volume continues from volume 13 where the crew has landed on an island with two fighting giants where Luffy and his crew have been put in a bad situation where they were befriending the giants there until the ale they were sharing exploded and they are the first suspects in the warrior giants view accused of such a thing Luffy has no chance to explain himself to the giant before he is attacked. Meanwhile also on the island high ranking members of Baroque Works intervene in the battle named Mr 3 who has eaten a devil fruit that has given him power over wax.

this volume was great echiri oda is great at doing comedy and action I'm still catching up volume 70 is the latest one piece book and I'm now up to 15 and 126 chapters in

One Piece ist für mich der beste Manga, ich kann es jedem nur empfehlen. Die englische Übersetzung finde ich bei allen Mangas deutlich besser und angenehmer zu lesen.
