Vizio sound bars have been applauded for their quality and price relationship by experts in electronics reporting as well as users. As a brand, they have been consistently rated to "punch up" from their price point – this model is no exception. While it claims to have internal subwoofers, it would be more accurately stated that it has speakers that can handle bass better than what would be expected from a standalone sound bar, and that statement would be true. DO NOT THINK that this will deliver the same level of depth and sound that a device with a separate subwoofer will, the speakers which handle bass are not of the size or power to rival a dedicated subwoofer. That said, it does a "better than expected" job, even after reading rave reviews, of offering a balanced sound and filling volume. In my view, the speaker hits the sweet spot between delivering quality sound to enhance your viewing experience without destroying the relationship of your neighbors, roommates or cohabitants. It has several "modes" for music, movies etc., as well as individually adjustable travel and base settings. In my tests it did well with music (metal, hip-hop, classical) and movies (action/sci-fi), regardless of the internal "EQ" modes. It has a variety of connectivity options to make it simple to ensure you get sound from whatever devices you have. In my experience it does far better than other sound bars that do not have separate subwoofers, and would be ideal for the apartment, dorm or "at home" teen – it produces good sound, but does not make enough noise to reasonably get one in trouble. THIS IS AN OUTGOING MODEL. The company has released a newer version of a "2.1 (internal subwoofer)" speaker with some updated specs and design. It's not likely that the newer version is leaps and bounds better than this one, but it is consistently more expensive. That said, this unit can be found at an excellent "reduced" price as it decreases and popularity, but be aware that once it becomes more "rare" the price will increase to above its original retail value. It's an excellent time to buy one of these if you're on a budget or have "sound restriction" in your living space – reconditioned and renewed options are an excellent price saving point.

Refurbished item. Sound quality good, with adequate bas for the size. I am very very pleased with my purchase. The only drawback is that it does not start up and produce sound when the optical cable starts feeding sound signal. In my opinion, the appearance is very good. It is stylish and attractive. It has a small light, which tells me when it is active. This is important, since it does not start up when the sound signal starts. I have zero buyer's remorse with this purchase. I will have this item for years. This sound bar is so good that i don't feel the need to upgrade.

Delivered on time and looks brand new with all the accessories. Sound is very good and voices are clear.

I have only had this a few days, but it has already changed our lives.My wife and I had been using closed captioning for all TV shows because the sound is so bad on today's flatscreens. We thought we were getting old and going deaf. No, it is just that the speakers face backward.This soundbar got great reviews and was reasonably priced. I am sure the $500+ systems with subwoofers and multiple speakers will give the movie theater type sound. But we just wanted to hear dialogue.The sound is great for everything from the news to action movies.Easy to set up. We use a Fire stick on all our TVs and after watching a short YouTube video, I figured out how to get the firestick remote to control everything.

Hands down the best soundbar on the market for its price. Apartment dwellers please use caution. The incredible soundbar as I learned can shake the neighbors easily. Aucusticians would explain that woth the decibles and voltage the wave can amplify over distance much like a car with a bass thump thump thumps. Apparently called sound power, even at very low setting you are likely to need to check with neighbors to ensure you are not blasting them. While even within moderate decible limits it cam sound incredibly loud even further away. A fact I learned the hard way. Still wonderful crisp clean sound this audiophile loves.

I replaced a Yamaha Surround Sound System which had an amplifier, five speakers and a subwoofer. The Visio system is a single bar with a power cord and a digital optical cable compared to two power cords and all the speaker wires, cable to the subwoofer and digital optical cable with the Yamaha system I had before. The room I am using it in is 20 X 14 feet and the sound is great.I was having an issue with the remote control not turning off a function but I was able to quickly communicate with a Visio Support person who helped me with a work around and is shipping a new remote. The price is very good for the quality of the sound bar and I would purchase this item again.

This thing is awesome! The sound is big ( especially bass), quality fantastic & ease of use is dummy proof. The 1 thing I don't like is if we don't use it for a couple months but it's still plugged in we have to unplug it then replug it back into the wall outlet again in order for it to turn on again but after that it's smooth sailing. (I'm truly not sure if that a product or an operater gliche). I have no regrets for this purchase.

First off I was so impressed with the packaging as received. An Amazon renewed product yet the packaging (and all pieces including instructions) was immaculate and looked like a new item from Vizio. My LG TV remote learned the soundbar seamlessly and set up was a breeze. Most challenging part was running the optical cable largely due to the port location on my TV which is wall mounted. While I thought I would prefer HDMI ARC-the digital optical cable option is offering all the sound quality and even functionality of the hi-def cable. The low profile of the soundbar is perfect and it sits unobtrusively tucked under my 55" TV. Audio quality is superb. Obviously not a 7.1 surround system but still rich, good bass and such a discreet and immersive enhancement to my viewing expereince. The DTS true volume and virtual x adds a further level of depth to the sound profile without the increased footprint and clutter of an external subwoofer or surround speakers . All this for $115 Canadian....it's a $350 value.:)

El producto viene perfectamente empacado; no hay indicio alguno de que sea remanufacturado. Viene con todos sus accesorios en lo que (supongo) es su empaque original.En cuando al producto en si, me gustó mucho. Tiene un sonido muy bueno; es facil de instalar y de configurar. Suena mucho mejor de lo que esperaba; lo compré como reemplazo de una barra JBL Studio y la verdad, esta es de otro nivel.Muy, pero muy recomendable.

This was an easy install - having a Vizio P65 TV and the SB362An sound bar means i only need one controller for the two.... Sound is unbelievably crisp and clear ... .Thunderous sounds are deep and dark making the viewing very realistic - at least in my living room. Couldn't ask for a better match.

I am on the second model of this now - the first one had to be returned after the remote went wonky and the sound kept turning on and off. But was impressed with it so much that I was willing to try it once more. This one has been very reliable (after a few months now) and the sound quality is good. We use this for TV and movies so no major "Lets Take this to Level 10!' so for day to day use and moderate level listening I would definitely recommend this. Yes, better than the TV speakers by far and it does fill the room well so if on sale go for it!

For the price I found this very reasonable. It plays rely well and I love the amount of bass it can give.
