Great porable chess set
Extremely well crafted chess board and pieces at a reasonable price, I had a miner problem with one of the pieces and contacted the seller who promptly addressed the issue. I was sent a replacement knight. We love the set.Great workmanship and thanks to the company's policy and the craftsman who actually made the set. I highly recommend the set.

The Squares are the WRONG color or the algebraic notation is INCORRECT!
The labeled A1 square is white. Not a matter of rotating the board a specific direction as the algebraic notation sets all in stone. Forces white to have to play on the 7 and 8 ranks and black on the 1 and 2 ranks which is incorrect. For $150 this is unacceptable, especially since its been over 30 days and now most likely will not get a refund or replacement!

Beautiful chess set!
This chess set is GORGEOUS!. Truly. I am dazzled. I am also incredibly impressed by the customer service. The first chess board arrived without the engraved algebraic notation. I sent a note to customer service, and they sent a replacement immediately. I could not love it more.

Amazingly beautiful chess set.
The media could not be loaded. Beautifully crafted, the wood board is perfect, solid and perfect in every detail, the pieces have a nice weight and are well crafted and polished.. arrived super fast, and secured in double box, I love it. For that price is unbeatable!!

Smells like toxic chemicals.
Clear coat used to pain the board smells like some toxic chemicals. We played a single game and I have a tingling in my lungs.Another issue is, When board is open, it doesn’t form a flat surface as hinges are not proper and/or properly set.And the final question, what material was used for adding the weight to the figures. Hope it is not a lead.

Better than what I expected.
A very nice set. Well made and beautiful. Will enjoy playing on the board and with the pieces.
