If you’re feeding it daily for too long it could cause hypervitaminosis, an excess of vitamin A (as liver has a rich source of vitamin A). It’s a fat soluble vitamin. I would feed these treats a few times a week and trying out other forms of joint supplementing like Green Lipped Mussel that’s high in glucosamine and chondroitin or tracheas (raw or dehydrated). I’m not a vet so I can’t say your dog has too much vitamin A and if you’re concerned I’d ask your vet and also let them know you’re feeding liver treats and how much you’re feeding. Also look into CBD for inflammation, arthritis and pain.
