I have super fine hair that is somehow curly and straight but too smooth for most barrettes/ hair ties to stay in place. I change my hair style often, Shoulder blade length to pixie and everything in between so betwen frequent use and the fact that somehow I have the unruly hair of a toddler, I go through a lot of pins. I bought these because they were cheap, same price for a pound as it is for a pack of 50-75 Conair or Scunchi brand, and I figured, they always stretch out or get lost so having a ton around is a good idea.These things ROCK. I read some of the reviews that say they bend out of shape or have un-tipped ends. I haven't noticed that problem AT ALL. I have little containers I keep filled with pins various places throughout my life because, as I said I'm always losing them. While i was filling my containers I didn't notice any tips missing. I was playing with them and they are strong and springy, stronger than some cotter pins I've worked with, and they snapped back into shape and hold even my slippery hair super secure.My box did not look like the ones in the picture, it was pink and white, so maybe I got a different batch than everyone else, but the pins are top notch. Will buy again if I ever run out.

Do like the price. 600 is a lot so I am not worried about losing or running out.

I love these hair pins! They are a good quality and easily hold down my natural hair. I find the little balls at the end are less likely to fall off after the first use with these so I don't experience the snagging I did like the ones from the beauty supply store. I'm super excited that I have about a million of these before I have to re-purchase them.The only con I have is regarding the packaging and has nothing to do with the actual pin. The packaging is horrible and cheap. The box was broken by the time it made it to me which made for a head of clean up and finding new storage for my massive amount of pins. Still for the quality I can deal with that.Yes folks. This means if you are like me and use bobby pins just about every single day of your life-you should definitely buy these. These have my vote!

I recently moved across the country (to the PNW) and have felt so amazing that I'm doing more to my appearance and learning hair styles. I started with a handful of items from Dollar Tree but after a few weeks, I had to keep replacing the pins. I decided to look into Amazon in hopes to get something in bulk that may save me a few dollars and came across this product. This review will be compared to the Dollar Tree "Salon Quality" which are bronze in the photo! And Diane which are the black pins in the photo.Dollar Tree pins are very thin and bend out of shape on the first - second use. I always have to cross them a few times to ensure it'll hold for a few hours at a time but my thin hair seems to constantly slip out or push the pins out of place.The Diane pins appear thicker, and are more crimped at the end. These pins have stayed in place strongly for 6 hours and are still in place. For the price I paid, I'm impressed. These are more luxurious than what I've been getting used to and I won't go back!These are made in China, I added a photo of the back incase anyone is curious about additional info. Highly recommend if you're considering this product! I don't know what "salon quality" feels like but these truly feel great and stay in place. I also intentionally stretched one out and it was tough. These aren't as flimsy as Dollar Tree.

I'm a dance studio owner so I buy hair supplies in bulk. These bobby pins come stacked nicely in the box, though the purple box (not the shipping box from amazon) always arrives in rough condition. As soon as I get these (I've ordered them maybe five times), I dump them into a large container for the girls to grab from as they need. Our ballerinas go through ton of pins and these are definitely the most economical choice for our school. In each box, there are usually around 5-10 pins that are stuck together, but there are so many in a box it really isn't worth the hassle to try to separate them and make them usable.The coating flecks off fairly easily, causing two problems. One is that I have always have tiny little bits of paint on the floor in our dressing room. The other is that they rust easily when left near water.If you're using bobby pins knowing that you'll lose them easily, then get these. They're comparatively inexpensive and sturdy enough to use many times. If you're generally responsible with your hair products and don't need to buy them by the pound, I would pass on these. I only use them for myself when I'm in a pinch and try not to put them in the same tin as my non-rusting pins when I get home.

These are good quality and there are so many! They’ll last me a while! So far, I haven’t had any that seem cheaply made or any that are stuck together like many of the containers you can purchase.

Very good quality pins and this price is great. We go through a lot of bobby pins with my daughter's dance team. Buying pins in the small packages at Walmart or Target can get expensive, as they inevitably get lost. These pins are a great solution for that problem. They last a long time.Some of the pins do start to show wear and get bent after a few uses in my daughter's thick hair. That is no different than my experience with any other bobby pin. At a fraction of the price, I'll stick with these.

This lil box has so many Bobby pins I will probably never run out. The color is perfect for my hair and they hold really well.

These bobby pins are heavy duty! They stay in almost too well 😅. Didn’t realize I was ordering a pound of them though, guess I won’t have to buy any for a wild lol

My wiry hair seems to eat bobby pins, and often also spits them out. To make it worse, my cats also love these things, and love to run off with them and knock them down into the air registers.These are great quality for bobby pins - I bought the bronze ones (less noticable in my red hair) and these hold up pretty well without bending, and the coating on them is even so they havent pulled on my hair.EXCELLENT value for a big box of bobby pins. No more wasted money on little packets or sheets of Goody pins. There must be over a thousand bobby pins in this box, it will be a lonnnnggg time before I need to think about buying more again.Will be recommending to all of my other girlfriends, and I imagine this would also be great for a professional stylist.

I am so unhappy with these hair pins half the box is missing the balls on the end or are badly melted and will not go through your hair. I would not buy them again

Thea’s bobby pins has awesome grip. Your hairstyle will not move at all. This is the only brand I trust for my hairstyling.
