Plaid Wood Canvas Panel (10 by 10-Inch),

I don't know why the title says "Canvas Panel" - these are NOT canvas. They are wood. (Just to clear up confusion.)I love painting on these panels! This was the first one I had ordered, but I will be ordering several more in the next couple of days. I love how sturdy the support is and how it can handle layers and layers (and layers!) of different items. This has gladly handled everything I've thrown at it - and wanted more. I also love how the wood doesn't warp when wet. (And I've gotten this totally sopping wet!) These are my new favorites - they are far superior to painting on MDF - maybe that's an unfair comparison, but I've done a lot of painting on MDF. (It's cheap, simple to cut, and easy to find.) My MDF days are over - I can't wait to make another creation on one of these panels. I also love how the paints don't get all muted because the wood absorbs all the liquid.Bottom Line: LOVE! What are you waiting for? Order one! They come in several sizes - and they are awesome to create on. They don't buckle and warp like canvas does when you use "too many" supplies on it. These are awesome!

These are thin wooden boards attached to a sturdy wooden frame. I have been using them to make clocks for family and friends and also to paint on. The back is inset about a half inch so no need to add a hanger, the ledge works perfectly fine for hanging. There have been a few variances of the front panel with some small knots, but it's natural wood so that is to be expected. None of the natural wood grains or small knots have been damaging or intrusive to creating on their surfaces. Overall, this is a great find for the price. Walmart has these in their craft section for double what Amazon charges. The wood is smooth and sanded and the back is glued sturdy, without sloppy drips. I have used about 8 and will continue to order for future projects!

A large group used these to build mosaics. We intended for the participants to use the inside of the frame for applying the mosaic tiles, but many turned it upside down and used the flat surface. Either way worked great.The frame is put together extremely well, out of 30 frames we didn't have any poorly manufactured items. The frame surface is also smooth enough that you can use it as a paint canvas.

One corner was damaged in shipping. They were also not what I was expecting, I ordered two. With that being said I'm not sure what I will use them for since they will not work for the project.

To make a pin loom. For weaving.

Perfect for the art project I had in mind. Good wood, well constructed.

These are very thin wood panels but excellent for the price and should hold up well for mixed media...just what I was looking for...

It's what it says it is, but not what i was expecting. very flimsy feeling and cheaply made. i bought 2... would not purchase again..

Thought this was canvas but it is apparently wood. Really hard to paint on if primer or something hasn't been applied beforehand, learned that the hard way. Paint will just bleed into the wood and look pale.

It was great for the price. It had a few chips on the corners and it kinda lifted up, i just glued them down and SHABAM. PerfectO.

Should work great for basic arts and crafts but be prepared to sand it down a lot before use.
