Each piece of this story gets deeper and more exciting, and I am never sure what to expect. Ebba fights with herself over the mixed feeling about her fathers now that she knows so much more about them and how she came to be with them. But as she watches Caspian move toward his future, wondering if she is to be any part of it, missing his friendship as soon as he turns away, she is captured and brought on board Malace, a fate she wouldn't wish on her worst enemy. This is when her eyes are opened, and the darkness begins to take root in the same way it had her fathers. Will she escape and find her way back to them again? And what is to become of her friendship with Caspian? What part is he to play in all of this with his return to Maltu?Just when I think I know which direction they're sailing, the author takes us another. It was adventure at its purest form, and to see these relationships develop, not knowing what they'll mean to each other or what they mean to the quest at large, was eye opening and heart pounding. Each time the author writes a new chapter in the series, I find myself more excited to see what her imagination holds for us next. This one is no different. I can't wait to discover where she has us headed.

I love how she refers to finding the couple in the act of "drinking tea". LolThese books have got me dredging up pirate speak I didn't even realize had gotten into my subconscious until the faucet in my tub was making a dripping sound and I said to myself, that be right annoyin'! Then I laughed like a crazy person. Thanks for that Kelly St. Clare! I love Pirates of Felicity so much!

Another really solid installment of Ebbas story. I love seeing how she is evolving and growing up right before our eyes. She is still naive and still rough around the edges but she is learning and growing. We learned a lot more of the story behind her fathers and how they ended up where they are now. We even learn more about our two Male leads and their shared history. This book was great for explaining a lot of what we need to know moving forward and propelling us towards the crews next adventure. Cant wait to keep reading. Fingers crossed for my two fav to have more time together butting heads in the next book!I did receive an ARC of this story at no cost but did buy and will buy all of Ebba's story.

O.K I have to take a moment from this awesome story to give praise!! Kelly St. Clare, You are an absolute genius. I don’t even know what led me to read these awesome stories of yours but, I’m going to have to add you to my favorite authors list!! If you love to read, this is an absolutely must read!!!

This is my favorite book in this series so far! There is action, adventure, and a lot of character growth. I can't wait to see what happens to Ebba-Viva next! I am super curious how Jasper will feature in the next book, too. I go back and forth on whether he is a "good guy" or a "bad guy" and whether he will develop a romantic relationship with Ebba. EEK! I want to know what happens next!I especially loved how Ebba is becoming more self aware but not changing her underlying character. She's still bold and brave but she's also growing up and questioning things around her. So many things happen in this book and I don't want to ruin it for anyone, but trust me it's worth reading and will leave you waiting for the next one!

Princess Ebba was really beat up in this book; it was really scary when she got caught by the evil pirates aboard the ship "Malicious". She was kept in the hold along with Verify, the soothsayer. There was a lot more action and some funny scenes when Ebbs was in the palace. Now it seems like Ebbs has two men who like her; the Prince and Jagger.

This series is wonderful, fast paced, funny, and full of action. Ebba continues to struggle with who she with what she has learned from her past. She also learns that what she has been through it nothing compared to the true horrors of the pillars, and what will become of the realm if they succeed. Cosmo reveals a great many things to Ebba, some that I already had my suspicions of. Jagger still leaves me in a bit of a mess. Dying to know what happens next.

I feel like St Clare keeps turning up the heat with each book. I enjoyed Ebba's growth and maturity. I loved the humor - laugh out loud type - sprinkled throughout the book. Even some serious and tense moments, Ebba found a way to interpret some of it to be funny. I also really enjoyed getting to know her fathers better. It's such a crazy Pirate Adventure. I can't wait to see where St Clare takes us next.

I wasn't too sure when I first started this series if I was going to enjoy it, but the characters grew on me and entranced me. In this third book of the series I feel that I know most of the characters quite well, but they still throw up a few surprises every now and again. Ebba is my favourite, she starts of as a rough diamond but as the series is passing you start to see more and more of the real gem she is under that dirt. Pillars of Six definitely does get darker and there were moments where I wasn't sure of everyone would pull through and how they'd survive it all. I really enjoyed this book and was dismayed when I found myself at the 88% Mark in what felt like no time at all as I didn't want it to end. I can't wait to read the next book and Pillars of Six gets five stars from me.

This is the third book in this series and its really getting stuck into all the things it hints about in book one, we get more of Cosmo and Jagger. We learn more back story about Jagger and get a hint at how strong he might be when you realise what he has gone through.I was genuinely gutted when the book ended, not because of a plot point but because the next is a while away yet and I just want to immerse myself back into the next one!

Love this book. So many adventures Ebba has had up to now can't wait to see what else is in store.

this series continues to be absolutely amazing. There’s a spell binding quality to the writing and you can’t help but be immersed into the world that’s been so fantastically created.Book 4 can not come soon enough!!
