I ordered 4 sets of Wilbur Smith’s historical novels and read them all like a hungry dog on a bone. Smith writes adventure stories well! Plus these take place in South Africa and on the sea, so you get everything from pirates to elephants.

Wilbur Smith has been writing books since 1966. He passed away in Nov 21 and was still writing incredible novels. These are the first books he wrote and are just as powerful today as they were in the 60’s
