The World of Avatar: A Visual Exploration Hardcover – May 31, 2022

It's a very beautiful book. I love it!

What a beautiful form of escapism this book took me to. I couldn’t put it down! It was exactly what I was looking for in terms of wanting to learn more in-depth about the world of Pandora and all of it’s beauty. It’s detailed on the planet’s geology, especially it’s wildlife as well as understanding more of the Na’vi way of life. It also goes without saying that it talks about the RDA and it’s mission to exploit.Definitely visual exploration that gives you anything you may have been curious about in the film. It provides solid explanations and history of everything, clear enough to understand given the fact that Pandora’s geology can feel so foreign to us.James Cameron’s Avatar is a film very near and dear to my heart as it’s inspired me to connect more with nature and appreciate all the beauty our planet has to offer. Reading this book only amplified that.

This book is so amazing and informative for avatar lovers, so much amazing info that we all love to learn a about.

My son really enjoys the pictures and details about the creatures that live in the World of Avatar. It is a pretty neat book.

Got this for the 9yo as she's JUST old enough to enjoy Avatar(with parental guidance). Beautiful book with typical animal visual encyclopedia type presentation. Started with just the titles, now she's reading the descriptions and pointing things out with repeat viewings. I don't care what it is (within reason), but get your kid's heads in books! Pretty enough to compete with video games.

I did notice the information about aerial assault is incorrect with a Na’vi warrior diving on a SA-2 Samson but it is labeled as a scorpion gunship and the information about Trudy Chacón’s death is incorrect and the book also does not give any information about the SA-2 Samson but other than that the book is awesome

The physical quality of the book is only matched by the amazing art and very interesting lore on the world of Avatar, including Pandoran flora and fauna as well as the Human sphere, featuring all the Resource Development Administrations (RDA) high-end tech, and weapons systems. If you love Avatar as I do, you will without a doubt love this book!

This book is basically an encyclopaedia of Pandora, Avatar, and the RDA. It is very exhaustive, and provides a lot of information that an Avatar fan like myself did not know.Do you know that one way of differentiating Avatar from Na'vi is that Avatars have eyebrows and the Na'vis don't? Just coming back from watching the rerelease from the theater, I can confirm that I never noticed this detail until reading this book.Five star.
