Monte Burch's Pole Building Projects: Over 25 Low-Cost Plans

I am getting ready to build 3 pole barns next summer that will function as shelters for calves. Although the book has several plans... I would guess it is highly unlikely that any one of them would specifically fit most buyers of this book. The true value to me was that as I design and plan the buildings to suit my needs... I now have a much better idea of what to be concerned about. I found it to be an excellent resource!

Ironically, the project plans seem to all be based on rectangular posts (ie 4x4), rather than any sort of round poles. 1/2 of the book discusses general construction details. but the lack of plans utilizing actual round poles is disappointing.

An interesting look, we have a life style property with a sloping section at one place so this book could be useful.

Written in laymans' terms. Easy to understand for DIY person.

Returned this... was disappointed. I guess I expected too much from the 25 plans, but you can probably find better "plans" searching google...

This book appears to expect one to have a pretty good sense of building. Some projects are on one page and have extremely limited details. More of a reference book, not a "how to" book.

Its ok I was looking for more examples on pole barns, however it covers numerous projects from sheds to building housesgood book to get started - easy to follow
