Hartz Nature's Collection Quackers Plush Duck Dog Toy - Large

Pretty great little toy for sub-$10! The quacking is a nice touch, sounds like a duck call, and the toy itself is soft. My dog loves her duck and she shakes it in her mouth, throws in up in the air, even gentle tugging is okay. It will rip if you try hard enough though.The first green duck I bought got grimy and the quacker wore out after almost a year, so I bought two more - one for my dog and the other for my friend's. My dog still has hers, almost like new except for dirt/grime, but my friend's dog literally destroyed her toy in under two minutes. She was able to rip and tear the outer "fur" apart and then get at the stuffing and quacker. If you know you have a dog more like this, find a more durable toy. Buying this will simply be a waste of money.

My puppy likes this toy but the squeeker no longer works even though he's only played with it for a couple weeks.

The sound this makes is a nice subtle quack sound. The sound effect isn’t as abrasive sounding as some dog toys, which I appreciate. It’s also a little less easy to get it to make the sound so while the dog plays with it, there isn’t a constant quack sound. Only complaint is our dog was able to break the quacking mechanic somehow only after a month. But will likely be getting another at some point once the rest of the toy gets more worn out.

The honker went out on my dogs’ last duck so got this as a replacement (previous ducks were this same brand). My dogs love their new toy. The honkers do not last forever in these ducks usually but for now it works and my dogs are happy. They are not aggressive chewers so I can’t really comment on how they would hold up to an aggressive chewer.

My medium size dog had fun but destroyed immediately. I managed to sew it up & she played with it a couple more days but that's it.

The duck itself is cute however it was shedding its hair all over the place before I even gave it to my dog. It also didn't make any kind of noise like I thought it would.

My Boston terrier loves this toy. It is extremely durable, and the duck noise gets my dog very excited. One of the highest quality dog toy brands I have found.

It came with a small hole already in the neck. I decided to chance it and let my dog play with it. Within 15 minutes, he had enlarged the hole and taken the quack-y bag out completely. It says it's meant for light chewers, so my dog being able to chew through it isn't my main concern, though it shows that it's not very durable. It's the fact that it came in with a hole already in the neck.Other than that complaint, it has a very nice texture. My dog enjoyed those 15 minutes. The noisemaker inside was hard to understand at first but my dog figured it out before I did. It looks cool, and makes funny noises.On a different note, here's a tip, stick to the directions and if your dog is a heavy chewer, stay away.I would not buy this again, unfortunately, since I can't be guaranteed it won't come with a hole this time.

My puppy is a shark tooth and she usually shreds her toys within a few days, and rips them apart. This toy has somehow lasted weeks and is one of her favourites, despite others reporting that their dogs chewed through it. It took a while to figure out how to make the quack work (it seems like there might be an air bag inside that needs to be squished to push air through the quacker part), but once I figured it out, it has continued to quack all this time. She loves it because it makes a different sound than her other toys, and I intend to purchase more!

Only a couple weeks in holding up very well so far.Husky Pup is not majorly destructive (yet?) so toys last quite well in our household so far.Has gone threw the washing machine once left out to dry (hense the disheveled fur).Super cute quack noise that our pup adores.Was hard to snap a picture as he usually is snuggling with this one.Pet toys have gone up in price significantly in our area, so was very happy with the value.Would definitely buy again.

This item is simply trash.At a glance it looked fairly decent but then I quickly noticed that duck sound did not work. As for durability and sturdiness I give it a zero. The winhs were poorly sewn and before using it it needed to be reinforced them. Worse yet after less than 15min of play from my 6mth old puppy it was shred apart. Bought better toys at a local Dollar Store..This item should be taken off the market.
