I’m pretty happy with this speed light. I bought the bundle with the accessory pack and have zero regrets. I watched & read a lot of reviews before purchasing because the price difference from the 860. The build quality is solid. The lighting is nice and bright. The cycle time is low. The accessories snap onto the front of the light nice and securely. It’s easy to learn and use for an amateur like myself. Buy once, Cry once. Very happy with the V1 and would highly recommend it to people who are in the market.

Updated review: Flash is amazing, but the plastic hot shoe broke. the seller made it right and sent a replacement for me. Made it super easy to resolve even after the 30 day return period. All godox products have a 1 year warranty from the seller. There's an issue with the cold shoe getting stuck on the camera occassionally. The flash has a rattle when you shake it which I dont think should be there.Update #1: I've continued using the flash even after it got stuck and it ended up breaking off pieces of the hot shoe mechanism. I bought a replacement hot shoe on Ebay because godox did not respond to my emails.Update #2: The amazon seller got in contact with me. They promised to fix the issue

I can’t recommend Godox enough. I bought the V1, accessory kit, and controller for less than the equivalent Canon flash only based on a teacher’s recommendation.I now have 2 V1’s and I’ve been so satisfied with Godox, I just added 2 AD400pro’s.

I like everything! Easy to use, battery life is amazing! I can go through a 6-8 hour wedding and not have to be concerned about battery life. Easy to charge and store in my camera bag. Made well, good quality.

Little odd with round head but I like the light output and the battery life is great. The accessories are very nice also. The price is great compared to the competition.

I have read all the hype and praise for Godox and this unit in particular.Only had it for a week so far, but so far so good!Love it's design and it's capabilities. The magnetic attachments are a brilliant idea.Cant wait to get the Godox X2T to expand the possibilities!I highly recommend this unit.

I'm a wedding photographer used to shoot with 3x "C" branded flagship speedlites. The setup was great but I'm tire of charging 16+ AA batteries every time before the shoot. More importantly, I've been having issue with the "C" branded speedlites specially when there are 2.4Gz wireless devices are in use near by. The wireless interference made it very unreliable.This Godox V1 completely solve this problem plus the long lasting Li-ion battery and the built-in mag-mod just made it way enjoyable to use. Time will tell if this speedlite's build quality lasts as long as the "C" branded one.

I got this on August 30. It was great i was impressed with it and then i got another one from adorama which is free from buying a lens. I got it a month after this one from amazon. But 2 weeks ago it suddenly stopped working. Never dropped or anything. Contacted godox and told me to message the seller. I didnt realize it wasnt godox or amazon but other seller based in china. Now they said i already passed the 6month free exchange. And they want me to cover the shipping of the item to their warehous + $57. Before buying it it says 1 year warranty but mow they’re charging me.

The Good flash works great, and comes with a rechargeable battery. You can buy magnetic accessories that snap on the end to diffuse the light

So far this flash has been awesome, the round dome is a perfect accessory and the settings have been pretty straightforward, though i'm still trying to figure out how to turn off the beep, if its possible. Otherwise love it.
