Like Tom Clancy for teens. Great book!
This series of books is terrific for the Young Adult reader. They are like Tom Clancy for teens. My son is not a big reader and loves these books.

The Setup
I'm not afraid to admit that I enjoy these books. They're a fun thrill that are well written and thought out.Being the fourth book, it did tend to feel a bit stale at the start. Horowitz does change the setup a bit, taking Alex into a different sort of scenario than we've seen thus far and doing so allows us to not have to suspend logic too much, which is always a plus.To add to the twist in format, here was a hint of something bigger at play right from the beginning, something that - I'm expecting - will play out through the rest of the series.I suppose there's only one was to find out....

Best book in the series
This is the best book in the series because it's definitely the most unexpected plot. Alex needs to convince the world that a man who has donated millions to charity is a lunatic trying to destroy the world. There is a huge surprise at the end and I won't say exactly what it is but I will say that if you can remember back to the event at the start of the book..... You'll be shocked. And also you'll really find yourself saying, this makes a lot more sense now.

For Dedicated Rider Readers...
At first I didn't get it. At first I wasn't sure. But after poring over this story, I have come to the realization that Alex Rider's father...well, I suppose you will have to see for yourself! In this adventure of the teenage MI6 agent, Alex Rider, Alex is forced, once again, to fight for the survival of the world. This time, however, he can't be sure who is enemy and who is friend. Who is the real fiend that he is supposed to be uncovering this time? Is it Yassen Gregorvich, the Russian mercenary? Is it the man who seems like a dream come true? Or is it someone else, whom Alex hasn't even met yet? Join Alex Rider, fellow readers, as he rises to the world's defense in Eagle Strike.

Great series!
Loved these books as a teen and wanted to reread them. The font and size used in these are very easy for my dyslexia to handle.

Best of the series till now
Loved it very much... Felt like a James bond or Bourne novel for me... Even though I was 30 years old, author took me into the shoes of 15 year old. Will continue the series!!

good read and not confined to age
shame that all these books are not available on Kindle yet. The good thing about reading is that you can tap into your own visuals, so that graphical interpretations of the writers descriptions are capped to your own. Exciting to read for all ages from 13 upwards. Horowitz is consistent with his story line and gives good descriptions of events, without being too graphic. The content is topical and up-to-date with modern life and the main character gets to use amazing gadgets to help him reach success. The main character does get injured but always manages to survive.
