This one's great! I tried a few of the plastic ones, but they were too thick to glide through the avocado without smushing the flesh. The thin metal loop and wires of this one are perfect, and I like that it's shorter than the ones with a loop at the end, making more room in my implement drawer.

We have one of the older styles of Progressive avocado slicers that we have used for a couple of years. I like it so much that I decided to try their new one. It's great! I like it even better than the old style. The cutting edge is thinner and the whole thing is smoother and easier to clean. I bought a dozen of them and gave them to family and friends.

It broke in about a few weeks after I bought, I kinda hope, this the only one that was defected, bcz I liked it and want to buy another one, but if they're all cheaply made, they need to be cheaper

Can be tricky to use on small avocados

We’ve been using one of these by a different mfg for years. When my roommate moved out he could find one at Bed, Bath & Beyond so I sent him this. He’s very happy with the gift.

Anyone who uses avocados on a regular basis should have one of these items. They hold up great in the dishwasher and quickly and easily slice your avocado into Perfect slices.

It peels avocados (without a trip to the emergency room).

Packaging didn't look as new/pristine as I expected and seemed an expensive buy.
