I have osteoarthritis in my hands, and am a teacher who needs to grip pens constantly, so I use thumb braces to help prevent bending, and the subsequent pain (super awkward to write, but it is what it is). I bought this one because it is flesh colored - a huge plus - I can't figure out why most brands only make black braces. This brace has a much longer splint than other brands. It securely holds my entire thumb and prevents any motion at all. I also am able to spin the brace around and use it for my index fingers when they are hurting. Because it prevents any motion, I only wear it on my most painful days, but on those days when I need it it is amazing.

This brace is very easy to use and provides good support - maybe a little to much. LOL It definitely does what it is supposed to and is very easy to put on.

They'd charge much more at the doctors or pharmacy for this brace. It fit well, is comfortable, and serves the purpose for which it is designed.

This product does its job as far as stabilizing the thumb. My son said that it is not really comfortable though.

Too big

Unlike other's I've tried, the brace starts to hurt soon after wearing it. Plain and simple.

I use this as a thumb guard to prevent my kid from sucking his trhumb. Works wonders at a fraction of what thumb guards cost.

Does not fit my small hands. It is not one size fits all. It is way too long on my thumb and too big around my wrist. The velcro doesn't wrap tightly around my thumb either. It is loose. Too large. If you have large hands, maybe this brace might work for you. Useless for me. Returning it.

Cheaply made but I guess you get what you paid for

Stabilizes the thumb adequately however the brace itself moves up and down and does not have a snug fit which allows movement in the wrist and places stain. Ok if desperate but look elsewhere for something sturdier.

Comfortable and supportive, fits well but could be an inch longer for me, would fit most people I suspect.
