hello can you hear me?
i know a lot of people say this toy volume is very low. and yes that is the case. my son is 7 months, so i'm trying to get him to put it to his ear. but he's at that stage where he'll stand in his bed and drop his toys over the side. well he did that with this toy about 4 times, and this last time, the volume went way up. so much so that I was looking around a like what is that? and I'm like there is no way it's his phone, and yep it was. I put it to my ear and it was definitely louder, not so much to do any damage but loud enough he doesn't have to put it to his ear to hear the songs. I'm not saying drop your childs toy if you want the volume to go up, i'm just saying the volume increased when my son dropped it LOL. but over all he loves the toy, he was so cute the first time he put it to his ear. it's easy to clean with a baby wipe. it's very durable. and the blinky lights, and sounds entertain him very well. the buttons are not hard to push at all. I read reviews that said they needed a lot of pressure, but that is not the case with the one i got. so maybe they were defective, or maybe they were older products that sat on a shelf for awhile until they were ordered. either way this is a great toy!!!!!

How loud do you want it to be?!?!?
My little boy got this phone for Christmas from Santa. It is one of his favorite toys (which means he throws it around and bangs it off of stuff) and it seems to be very durable. It lights up and plays songs/make sounds when he presses the buttons, just like Daddy's phone.I have seen many reviews from people knocking this toy because the volume is too low. Well, IT'S A PHONE people! Even my one year old son knows it's a phone - which means he holds it up to his ear and talks on it like everyone else does when they use a phone. Do you really want your toddler holding something to his ear that has an extremely loud volume? I'm going to make an educated guess and say that Fisher-Price kept the volume setting very low for exactly that reason. When this phone is held up to your ear, the volume level is perfectly acceptable. I actually appreciate the fact that I can barely hear this toy when my little boy is playing with it!

Great Distraction!! Helps with This Wiggle Worm's Diaper Changes
My one year old loves this. It has held her attention for diaper changes, big and small, for a coup,e months now. I use it exclusively for that so that it's something she looks forward to. I bought this earlier, but it was too heavy for her to hold until about ten months. Even now, it sometimes drops into her face and hurts her. But she still looks for it again. I think she is starting to find it repetitive after playing with it several times a day for a couple months. There are limits songs and phrases, and she tends to press the same buttons I'm guessing since her hands are not quite big enough to reach all the buttons readily. When she does hear a less familiar phrase or song, she perks up. So I think it'll continue to hold her attention for a while longer. Fingers crossed!

nice play smart phone
We got this for our 9 mos old because she's always trying to grab our iPhones. She doesn't like it as much as the real thing, but it can keep her attention during a diaper change. The only complaint I have is, the volume is too low. I understand why they set the volume so low, because it's supposed to be a phone, and children are supposed to hold it up to their ear. But it would be nice if the volume can be adjusted, so the songs and sounds can be heard even when not held up close to the ear. Besides the volume level, it's a great fun little toy with fun sound effects and nursery songs! It's well made, and pretty close to a real smart phone!

Baby still wants mommy's phone
I bought this hoping my son would like having his own phone and leave mine alone, sadly he still wants my phone. I didn't realize before purchasing this phone that the buttons all have one large clear piece of plastic over it, they are not really separated from one another. Your child needs to have good strength in order to push the buttons as they all have to be pushed at once. At first I was disappointed that the phone was so soft, you can barely hear the sounds at all. I thought it was the batteries but after replacing them I realized the volume was made soft on purpose; as it is a phone the child will put it to their ear so if the volume was too loud it could damage their ear. So, good thinking on the company's part but even placed up to your ear your can barely hear the sounds at all. There is very little variety with the buttons and not much educational value can be placed on the toy unless the parent uses it in an effective learning activity. My child has played with occasionally but is not in love with it.

This toy exceeds all expectations!
Recently my nephew has started the "If you have it I want it" phase. He is 10 months old. So at his mother's request I went in search of a cell phone or laptop toy that might distract him so we can use ours. The negative reviews for this toy said that the toy was too quiet, which sounded like a good thing to me, so I ordered it.This toy is everything I could ask for in a baby toy. The price is right, it arrived exactly what it was supposed to, the packaging was very easy to open and it comes with batteries. When my nephew got up from his nap, I pretended I was using the new cell phone as my own and it only took a minute for him to be interested. We played with it together until he got used to the buttons and now he is playing on his own with it and letting me write this review.I think the sound level is just right and I would purchase this toy again.

It's a good decoy
My son is in LOVE with my iPhone, to the extent that I have had to make sure not to leave it in an even remotely reachable place, because he'll go nuts trying to get to it.In an attempt to distract him from my phone, my husband decided to get him his own. While I was skeptical of this working, it actually did. The buttons are easy for my 9 month old to push and the songs and other talking are easy to hear and understand. It's also incredibly durable - this thing is SOLID. Ours has been dropped many times and it's holding up just fine. It's fairly light, too, so my son has no problem picking it up and manipulating it.If your child is in love with your cell phone, maybe try this. It's interesting enough that my son now likes it more than he likes reaching for my phone, so it's a hit in my book.

Aceptable pero podría mejorar
El juguete es un poco grande y pesado para bebes. Se les dificulta tomarlo con las manitas porque está muy ancho. El sonido está muy bajo y no hay forma de nivelarlo. Fuera de eso, está bien.
