I replaced the top regular lace eyelets in a pair of leather boots with these hooks. The small ring/washer for each hook was not large enough. I went to hardware store and bought some small metal washers instead. These worked much better in the existing holes in the leather boot. Other than the wimpy rings, I am pleased with the hooks and tool to install.

The washer are way to small to be effective at all - submitting for a return, I had high hopes here, alas.

Perfect for boot / shoe repair. Easy to use, makes setting quick lace bits quick and solid.

Took quite awhile to arrive, rivets dont crush easily, and didnt grab the material on the boot as needed. Cheap slightly usable product. Not the best but .

Once you figure it out it is pretty easy. I replaced missing hooks on my Wolverine boots.

Nice set, tried to put a new grommet on my hunting boot, lasted about two days.

I guess I lucked out. I got 11 piece’s, 5 hooks and 6 backer washers, but NO TOOLS as advertised. I probably got .20 cents of product. My bad it comes from China, who would have thought I would have gotten “screwed “. Wasn’t worth the effort.
