I just purchased this phone mount a little over a month ago and it is already unusable. First thing to go was the spring loaded back plate. (see photo) Once it popped out a couple weeks after getting it, it was impossible to put back into place without the springs popping out and the plate falling off. So I tried putting the back plate back in without the springs and that held for a little bit. Had that been the only issue, I probably could have managed with it staying broken as it was still usable. However, now it wont stay clipped to the fan vent like it used to. A little after a month of having it clamped the air vent it lost its strength and now will no longer stay clamped to the vent without falling out and onto the floor. I wish I could return it but I am now past the return window after a little over a month of having it. Very disappointed.

I've tried several car mounts in the past. I must say this is the most unique and innovative one I've come across. While it is not "pneumatic" as advertised, the mechanical action of the Compliant Mechanism provides a very good user experience and appears almost magical in nature. I recommend this if your car vent can support the weight of a phone.

Ok I first got this and it was amazing. Easy to use. Things were great. Then after about 2 months of use it kept falling off. Looking at it it looks like it is all worn out already. It’s a great idea... but do I really want to buy a new one every44-60 days? I use my phone for gps almost every day and I have the XS max

I like the small profile of the phone holder and it's a clever idea to have the arms/legs extend after slipping the phone in. However:1) the legs need to extend further down so the top half of the phone is more supported and not wobbling loosely because it's top-heavy (it'll be a problem with any phone at 4.5 inch screen size or larger). I'm using a rubberband to secure the top portion of the phone;2) this phone cradle can only accommodate slim profile phones. There won't be enough clearance for a secure grip for phones wrapped in thicker cases.The phone holder components feel a bit flimsy and fragile. If someone were to make this with sturdier material along with the above improvements, I'd love to have it.

Unfortunately the phone holder keeps falling apart and I'm using it very gentally. It set up nice, holds the phone great, but keeps falling apart and springs go popping out and flying about the car. I'm very dissatisfied. I'm going to try and return it.

It is an okay cell phone holder but I wish it kept the phone a bit more secure. The handles are a bit flimsy when the weight of the phone is placed on it. The vent clip is very sturdy and it has a shock absorbing component to protect the phone from potential bumps. It has space for the charging cable to still be connected to the phone while on the holder. I also appreciate how it can be placed in different positions. I used it for my Galaxy S7 and it fit without an issue.

i saw this and wondered how well it work so when it was deliver I was super impressed! The clip that attaches to the vent is built very well and unlike some I have seen and tried it has a well built backing to keep in the vent and holds really well. I have an iPhone X and it works perfect! Now if I can just get used to putting in the holder instead of throwing it by the gear shifter or purse lol!!

I could NEVER get this to stay in place in the air vents of 3 DIFFERENT CARS! At times, it would FLY OFF into the air and landing someplace on the floor! It looks nice, and I really wanted to love it, but it FAILS MISERABLY on the core functionality which is to STAY IN PLACE!!
