For work AND for home!
For people who work with autoclaves either in science or medicine, these gloves are superior. They cover the entire arm (the longer size), they protect from steam and heat, and they are very flexible, which means that you aren't clumsy with that tray of instruments. For those who don't happen to have an autoclave in your home, they are outstanding oven mits. You can reach far back into the oven and your arms are protected. And you won't drop that cake pan or pie dish because they are stiff. I have them both at work, and at home.

It's just a big towel glove
I bought these because they were recommended to me as great oven mitts. They get five stars because this is true. I haven't seen any other oven mitts with separate finger holes and enough length to protect your forearms from the inside edges of the oven. They don't protect you from scalding water or steam, but most people will not encounter those while baking.I was expecting some high-tech material, but it's just cotton terry cloth, fuzzy on the outside and smooth on the inside. If you're good at sewing, you could cut up a thick towel and make these yourself for a lot less money.

Good gloves, but could be a tight fit for people with big hands/forearms
Overall, these are good, reliable autoclave gloves. They will shrink slightly if you wash them and throw them in the dryer, which makes them a little difficult for me to pull on all the way.

Best BBQ Glove!
My husband loves these gloves - he uses them while grilling. They are very sturdy, wash up nicely and really cover up his arms - no scorching or burning!

Make great oven mitts!
Perfect oven mitts! Feels like you're wearing gloves, not the bulky junk that other inferior oven mitts are made of. You can actually grip and feel what you're grabbing with these.

Larger than I expected. Were even big on my husbands hands. Also they are more of a bright orange than red.

A must have in a busy kitchen
You will use these every day in the kitchen. they protect your hands and wrists, and are very easy to use. Much easier and more secure than traditional potholders.

Great for Kitchen!!!
First was introduced to these cloves for science, but my wife got them for me for cooking in the kitchen. I grew up backing with oven gloves similar to these and these are perfect, they have 5 fingers, protect from a large amount of heat, and protect my forearm from burns in the oven, which is where I would be most likely to burn. I got pairs for all of my family, best thing for oven cooking, easily washable, and the orange makes it easy to find in the kitchen.
