swedish hasbeensWomen's T-strap Sky High Platform Sandal

My mom bought these for me for Christmas when I noticed they had reduced in price by $70 (I paid $170). I would recommend holding these in your Wish List and checking the price periodically because chances are they will come down. I am a size 9 US and bought the 39 BR/9 M and they fit perfectly. I bought the Nature color and treated them with EVOO.My one concern is that these cover the bone on each foot at the base of my pinky toe, and if the leather does not stretch or ease a bit, I'll have to return them. My Fredrica sandals do not touch this area on the foot and are extremely comfortable, but these do and they really hold the foot in. I'm hoping that I can break them in a bit and loosen the leather around that part of the foot. I've read (and experienced) the comfort that comes after these break in so I'm hopeful.They are super cute, the heal and platform is really comfortable, but that one area is really snug and hurts. (I want to note that this has to do with my individual feet and not a flaw in the design or construction of the shoe.) I'm going to give them some more time (wearing them with socks, putting lotion on the feet then wearing, etc.) before I give up on them. The platform at the toes really offsets the heal so you feel like you're barely wearing heals.So cute! Hoping I can make these work!

These are so cute and fit so well! The color is darker/deeper than the picture but I don’t mind because I actually wanted them to darken quickly to go with other leather items I have of similar color.

These are some beautiful clogs! The only caveat is if you have wide feet definitely order one size up. These shoes are so well-made I know that I’ll be wearing them possibly 20 years from now.... THAT is how great the craftsmanship and material this company has welded into these shoes. Out of the box the leather is super stiff and thick. I have wide feet, so of course I’ve got some shoe stretchers on hand. Even after 48 hours of leaving my stretchers in these clogs and applying olive oil to soften the leather (this is actually recommended by the company in their information pamphlet from the box) they were still a smidgen too tight. I wore them around the house with some wool socks to help break them in for a couple days and finally got them perfectly sized. This is also when I realized I should have returned them for a larger size... live and learn! LOL! Either way, that’s why I knocked off 1 star. At least I know now what size I’ll need to purchase my next clogs from Swedish Hasbeens, because I WILL be purchasing more!! =)

My new favorite pair of shoes! The break in time is completely tolerable, and once you've broken them in they are SO incredibly comfortable, I wear them every day, all day! and a little tip during the break in time, rub some olive oil on your toes/ feet to soften the leather inside. The hasbeens website recommends this. But if you do, be sure to not get oil on the outside as this will change the color of the leather to a gorgeous carmel color. I actually rubbed EVOO on a cotton ball to make my whole shoe that consistent pretty color. But if you just have a little on your fingers from putting it on your feet as you put your shoes on - be advised ;) that way you don't have like, one finger print of a darker shade on the shoe!anyways, this is completely worth the price. get them. they work with EVERYTHING.

Did not like that the shoes didn't arrive in original box. They said original box was damaged.

I love them. They fit perfectly, although if my feet were any wider I could see how they would be too narrow. But if you have average width feet, go for it! I normally wear a 7.5-8 and bought the size 38.Definitely watch the price though. As I write this review, I see that the price is back up $90 from what I paid a few days ago. It did fluctuate as I had them in my wish list for a while, so if cost is a factor, keep checking on them in case it goes down.

The shoe was smaller than the US equivalent.

I was super excited to receive these in the mail. They arrived and look better than expected. Super cute style for spring and summer. Love the t-strap. They seem very well made and I was surprised how lightweight they were (I expected the heel to feel heavy and clunky but it's just the opposite). Unfortunately, the toe box is really narrow so I'm sending them back for the next size up and will pray they work for me because I just adore this shoe!
