Thank you SpiderHolster!
If you love taking pictures, if you love your cameras, if you are looking for The Best DSLR holster system, just buy this one! You won’t regret it. Unless you are collector or fashion enthusiast, never go neck/shoulder/chest harnesses, choose waist holster, not similar cheap clips but this Spider system! Here’s why.First of all, you have to admit that the fact that cameras are for you to be carried, readied and shot, just like guns. Now, look at the best people with guns. Western gunmen, policemen, military men. Are they swinging their guns on their necks and shoulders? No way. Waist belt holster is the way, for the waist is the fastest place in our bodies our arms reach and hands hold, and the steadiest place in our bodies where our strongest bones and muscles hold and balance to carry ourself!I’ve tried many carrying methods and system, some more expensive than this one, but nothing better than this one. Never buy similar products, especially those which claim to be attached to normal belt. The Spider holsters’ superior functionality and security comes from their integrated system achieved by the combination of original parts, sturdy belt, pads, camera beds, clips and joints. The lockable pin-plate joint holster system is game changer. You can freely rotate your gear even when in locked position. This enables you not only to easily check your camera settings, but also to flip/rotate your cameras and belt to avoid obstruction or manage to go through narrow space at the same time securely locked to your body. This also works in contrary, meaning your cameras can move when hit something, avoiding/absorbing shock, at the same time securely attach to your body. Some reviewers seem to feel uncomfortable about wearing additional belt but hey, this belt is the key of its integrated functionality and the bed for your cameras. Your cameras are feeling comfortable on it you know. Here’s some tip about the belt. If you wear the belt upon the iliac spine (like you wear normal belt), you are holding the weight of your camera on one of the biggest strongest bones so very steady. But sometimes it could be a bit too bulging for the situation or feel pain over long activity. Try wear it below iliac spine. In this way you are holding your cameras on your leg muscles, enabling your gears more mobility and keep them slim. (Though will cause muscle burn.)The more I use this the more I realize its well thought construction and how lucky I got this. The happiest thing is since I got this I had no second thought about bringing my DSLR out with me, or felt no burden on going dual (I have Canon 5D4 and 1DX2), resulted in catching wonderful photo chances, more love and motivation for photos and cameras.Thank you for reading my lengthy reviews. Thank you SpiderHolster!

Great System don't listen to the negative reviews
The holster ie the metal base attached to the camera and the metal receiver which can worn on any belt which is what you're actually purchasing with this system. These retail for approx $105 each, in this system you receive two. Before purchasing this system I did my research via the manufactures website and also via YouTube video reviews. I knew what I was getting and what was going to be involved. Something that the other negative reviews should have done before purchasing such an expensive system and than spending twice as long complaining about what they received rather than doing the research. The actual spider pro holster is a made out of machined stainless steel and aluminum and is a very high quality unit with a solid heft to it. This isn't cheap cast metal or plastic. So when others try and compare this to any other system there is no comparison. Most other camera carry systems are made out of cloth and webbing and if you're lucky a metal clasp that attaches to the camera. Unlike other systems I feel confident hanging $5-10K worth of camera equipment off of it without fear that it's going to break. Now onto the actual review of how it carries. I have seen no other system on the market that can compare to this system. I routinely carry a Canon 5DMIII with a battery grip and a 70-200 F2.8 lens. I also sometimes add a 600-RT-EX flash to the above camera. For those not familiar I'm talking somewhere in the neighborhood of 10 lbs of camera and this systems excels at carrying that much weight. Try slinging 10 lbs off of any neck strap, I can't carry this around my neck at it causes me severe headaches and for anyone who has ever done serious backpacking you know you want the weight carried on your hips which is what this system does. On a routine day, ie not going out specifically to photograph, I carry my camera on a 1 1/2" liger belt. While it might not be the most comfortable on this thin of a belt it beats carrying it around my neck any day. So when I know I'm going to be carrying my camera for hours on a photo day I carry the spider pro on a Lowe Pro S&F deluxe belt and this sure beats any other system I've ever tired. My camera is instantly ready when I need it but secure and if I have even the slightest fear I flip the lever which locks it to me.As for all of the complaints about the belt you receive with this system. It's alright nothing fantastic about but it isn't horrible. My response to everyone that complains about the belt is that you are paying about $25.00 for the nylon belt with this system look at the YouTube reviews and if you don't like it save the money and buy two of the holsters (ie metal part) and than buy a Lowe Pro S&F deluxe belt. The holsters come with everything you need to mount it to the LowePro belt. You only end up spending about $20.00 more and the LowePro system is the best I've ever seen for carrying a large amount of gear and having it readily accessible and the biggest reason is "it carries the weight on your hips" which is exactly what the spider pro system does.So if you want a system that carries a heavy camera comfortably this is a great system just do your research and decide what belt you want to use with it and then purchase accordingly.PS I'm going to purchase a couple more holsters so I can leave at least two on my LowePro belt, it's take about 5 minutes to mount it on the LowePro belt, see the video. A great thing with this system is if you have extra pins you can have one on the lens tripod ring which lets you leave that lens on your belt when you switch your camera to a different lens one the days you're not carrying multiple cameras so you don't have to keep put lens into and taking out of lens pouches.Bottom line it's expensive but more than worth it when you hanging $10K worth of gear off of it.

12 hour wedding?, make it 14
Aside of looking like a western cowboy, it is actually really comfortable, camera and lens will rub against the nylon pads and will deteriorate with time. locking mechanism is high quality and locks nice. A little difficult to put together, you have to screw, measure, fold and all sort of things, haha. I love it.

PERFETTO

A must for dual shooting photographers
Used on full day of shooting a Paintball event, just awesome! Weight distributed amongst left and right. No neck/strap pain! Maybe an added H harness on the next build would be the cherry on the sundae!
