We purchased this item just few weeks ago. The packing is excellent. After few days of use the switch stopped to work. The heating plate started to get overheated. Few days later the place where the electric cable attached got charred and the copper wire got exposed. Few days later the handle broke.When we called customer service they said no service available in Hyderabad. They gave another phone number and when we called there they said they service only Bajaj products. When we tried to call service center again now they don't answer and disconnect the phone. So the gadget is useless now in few weeks of use.There was risk of electrocution but we were saved by chance.

Once you figure out the right dough pliability for the gadget, it churns out good rotis consistently. Easy to clean and maintain.

In the beginning I was unable to make rotis with this product. But with practice, I understood the best method to make rotis. Now making rotis is quick and easy. I was fooled by the name tag "Jumbo". In reality it doesn't make jumbo rotis. Therefore I give only Four Stars.Only draw back is the size of the product.

I received this product on 21 September. This is so - so chapati not makes like gas .it is not easy to use when we tightly press chapati break in many pieces and light press chapati now make fine how mach press decision not easy for me. Its handal are very low quality when i press some tightly it break top of the corner. Amazon delivery is very nice packing is also very good.

No one can make a roti in this so called "Roti Maker". The advertisement shown in video is tricky. I have tried with all type of dough. and as per specified process for 25 times. Best part is when you unpack this Amazon is not going to take back. This is in contradiction to the advertise shown in Television. The clause read as "All Electronics which includes the categories: Mobiles & Accessories, Cameras & Photography, Portable Media Players, Car & Vehicle Electronics, Computers, Components & Accessories, Hi-fi & Home Audio, Home Theatre, TV & Video and Telephones must be returned in new and unopened condition with all accessories and original packing intact and unopened. These items must also have the serial number or UPC intact. The UPC number is a sequence of 12 digits below the barcode that is unique to each product.".............BE AWARE BE SAFE.The writer has now filed an appeal with Amazon (which is 2nd stage of return claim).

The heating time of the instrument is half an hour. The baking of rotis is inadequate due to this. There was no free gift included.

does It work: Yesthe issue is that your regular dough will just not cut it. It needs to be extra moisty. The regular dough that you use to cook your roti on tawa will get super dry on this.used it for sandwich and parantha...works well.. the element heats up like that...i guess it is ideal for bachelors and those who have eat roti as soon as they make it...can't be stored for long. the moisture is sapped too fast.needs some getting used to...but does what it says...

I must admit that even after numerous good reviews, I was bit skeptical while purchasing it. After using it, I must admit that it was indeed a wise decision.A sturdy product from Jaipan which makes "roti" very quickly. Numerous online videos will give necessary tips on how to use it. I watched a few on youtube myself to familiarize with the product.One point of caution: Final output depends on the softness of dough and the size of the ball taken out for the roti. I would suggest using one dough-maker along with it for hassle-free use. The plug fits to both 5A and 16A socket.Overall, a must-have addition to the kitchen of all roti-lovers.
