Wonderful and Fantastical
The Loom Saga is written wonderfully and has very few errors in spelling or grammar. Every character feels real, possessing a unique personality that defines not only their perception if the world, but the decisions they make. The story is fantastically paced, occurring over several years, giving events realistic time frames and characters enough time to grow and change. The plot is wonderfully logical, and each event follows logically from the ones before. Character’s decisions and personalities feel like they are the driving force behind the story, instead of the story moving forwards despite a lack of forward momentum. In short, the plot armor and plot devices that drive many lower quality stories are absent here. This is a great series that I cannot recommend more.

Another one down
Elise Kova does it again. Her writing, her character development, and world building are excellent. And the books are for ALL ages. For those complaining about how Arianne never changed, I heartily disagree. Much about her evolved over the course of the series. Her PERSONALITY didn't change. And why would it? It's who she is. Mine hasn't changed in 60+ years! Certain behaviour changes, but we are who we are. I loved this series, with a satisfying ending. Not that Air Awakens, and it's add on series didn't end satisfactorily, but I find I still crave more stories about them. So many interesting characters I'd like to explore further. Jax, anyone?

Great series.
Loved the world. So interesting. The people being shades of color, and the dragons being bright colors. Good series, original story line.

Highly Creative Series
Highly creative series. I liked how the two worlds, Loom and Nova, were civilizations distinct from each other. Loom also did not bear clear resemblance to other, human civilizations. The magic system, which involved magic being associated with different dragon organs was definitely dark fantasy, but less original than the worlds themselves.Book one was one of the most convincing “Enemies to Lovers” stories I have read. Usually, that type of story is over-constrained, and it’s just not convincing why the characters were forced together long enough to change their minds about each other. Usually, it isn’t even convincing as to why the characters even changed their minds, but this reversal was quite compelling.Book 2 is much darker than Book 1. This is largely due to Colletta upping the evil/dishonorable quotient several notches. On characters, Cvereh is the perfect Ryu (second), which his sister, Petra, no doubt groomed him to be.There is a point in Book 2 where team Xin/Loom is doing so poorly, it was painful, then in Book 3, it’s almost like the writer has to throw in random mistakes and character flaws on the Villain/Rok side to end the story. She does a nice job making the King and Colletta’s death a tragedy. It’s partially Cvereh’s character, but the women do tend to be the Alphas in most of the relationships in unique ways. After having read three series written by Elise Cova, I can say she consistently writes heterosexual and homosexual relationships and attractions well. Her best heterosexual-relationship is in Air Awakens (who doesn’t like Aldrik/Vhalla?). In this book Arianna and Cvereh have a bit of a Paranormal Romance flare given the magic systems and the two different species factor.Loved how each cover featured a different character.

Surprisingly excellent series
Based on some negative reviews I did not expect much from this series, but actually it is very well written and progresses through an excellent character and plot development. The three main characters are all introduced in different stages of strength and growth. From the start the Wraith is openly strong and steadfast, but she needs to develop trust and willingness to again to commit to a person and and ideal. The dragon is also strong, but his strength is purposely hidden emerging gradually throughout the book as needed. The third main character who will come to be known as the Revolver is at first presented as young, loyal, trusting and keenly observant. She also quickly demonstrates a sharp intelligence and perseverance, willingness to take action and great leadership. She is not necessarily weak in the beginning but you definitely see her develop strength throughout the book. And although this is fantasy the author was able to clearly demonstrate how and why a revolution develops and what it needs to succeed. Another point I like about this series is that the female characters, both the good and bad, are given equal footing and power as the male characters. In the end the books demonstrate that arrogance eventually defeats itself.

Excellent set of books
Wow what a great read, a whole new world created, a touch of sci-fi that is very believable.Finely written characters and the story is so well written, that the classic battling for freedom story has a fresh take and feel.Set in a world where the below world (earth like, yet not) is ruled by a race of human like dragons who live in the sky. Lead by an uncaring King their magic had given them the upper hand till the battle begins. Well told, great tension, romance, even battle scenes and story line is so well done. Get the set.

It's Decent with Moments of Flash
I love all of Kova's works, but this one was hard for me to get through. Some chapters were slow and took a long time to build to the excitement. I'd still recommend the book series to fellow readers. The last book is definitely the best of the three

Holy Cow! What a ride!
Imagery alone makes this book a wonderful experience. Rainbow of colors within houses of Nova and the gray steam punk guilds of Loom exquisitely mingle with one another. Strong female leads at every turn and, in this universe, all the men love these strong women. This epic wraps up everything nicely and leaves no stone unturned. This was the second complete series I've read by Kova- she does not disappoint.
