Great little speakers. Just what I needed to replace my older, rusted speakers that stopped working. They are good for outdoor use as they are made with plastic cabinets. They sound great too!

I don't write too many reviews, but these speakers deserve a 5 star rating. They have a nice sound and better yet they are truly weather proof. I took them to my house construction project in Centeral America and set them up on the construction site to provide some music while we were working. I put them in a window on a partially constucted wall of the house. I forgot to stow them on a Thursday of a three day weekend. It rained hard and almost continuously the three days. Monday when we came in they were still playing and there was no change in the sound quality. I actually poured a glass of water out of each of them while they were still playing. That was a month ago and they are still working just like new. They are a great value, sound great and more than live up to their "weather proof" description.

I needed speakers for my deck and yard, but didn't want to spend a fortune. These speakers work great. They are not the loudest speakers out there, but I can easily annoy my neighbors if I wanted to. I have had them up for a few months in the weather and they are still working witch is a plus.Pros: Great price, decent sound for backyardCons: Not for audiophiles or someone needing a ton of sound. These are not concert speakers.

My 4 star review is not based on the product itself it’s fine it’s based on ordering one color and receiving another. After contacting the seller they did offer me a full refund for the error which I consider very good customer service now giving a 5 star review

You get what you pay for. IMO the overall quality of sound is ok at best. I have purchased less expensive speakers in the past that sound much better. Would I buy these again ? Nope

They worked for a month and then stopped. About every 5 years for the last 20 years I have been purchasing speakers from Amazon. I have 4 speakers on my back porch, out of the weather, under a roof, and never have any problems with them other than the cover rusting. Between 3 to 5 years the sound quality tends to deteriorate, so I buy new speakers because they’re relatively cheap. These speakers are horrible and failed almost immediately. I didn’t put the volume loud or anything abnormal and somehow they appeared to melt. They are definitely poorly made.

I have mixed feelings about these speakers. If you plan on using them in a stationary fashion and not remove them multiple times the sounds is actually pretty good and they are totally worth it to purchase. However, if you plan on placing them in a place where you will need to remove them on a regular basis you will be not be even a little bit happy.Pros: Great sound range and wonderful for outdoor use by the pool or a gazebo.Cons: If you plan on connecting, disconnecting, reconnecting (like on a boat) they WILL FAIL! The nut in the speaker is really poorly glued and will break loose from that glue very easily. If that happens the only recourse is to break the outer speaker plastic which basically ruins the speaker. This happened with both speaks that I mounted on my pontoon.I ended up going with Yamaha speaks instead. A bit more expensive but definitely more worthwhile than these speakers. I ordered two sets of these. One set for the pool stereo and one for the pontoon. The speakers for the pool are intended to stay in place until they blow so there was no issue with them at all. The ones I mounted on the boat were ruined as soon as I mounted them because the glue broke and the only way I could get the speakers off was to break the whole speaker housing.DO NOT BUY THESE UNLESS THEY ARE INTENDED TO STAY IN PLACE!!!!
