Brilliant Item - Works Like Magic
So I asked myself how many of these suction brackets do I end up buying in a year, and the answer was too many. They tend to be cheaply built, of dubious quality, finicky and bothersome to use, so a new one winds up in my cart all too often. For the same money, or less, I decided to try to source a more permanent device, and landed upon this NEQUIO X. I had a long laundry list a criteria it needed to meet - a better-than-average suction device, reliable moving parts, stability while attached to my window, I didn't want "gimmicky", and a device which instilled confidence in me that it would remain in usable condition for a long while. Not an easy list of requirements, but the NEQUIO X was up to the challenge. This device strikes the perfect balance of IR sensors, motors, servos and electronics to guide my phone into position perfectly and easily every time. My assumption is that the brackets which hold my phone in place might be prone to activate buttons on the side of my phone, so that's the only thing I'm certain to verify during the homing-in process. The NEQUIO X does the rest quickly and easily, without a lot of "phone wrestling" needed on my part.Once firmly in place, my phone is held in a gentle but steady grip which allows complete access to my screen. Both "portrait" and "landscape" orientations are fully supported, and for distance driving, there's nothing quite like charging your phone wirelessly as you go! A note on that - this charge function seems to work just fine, but I do see an slight improvement in recharge rate if I turn down my phone's brightness a bit.All in all, a very impressive device indeed, and an unhesitant recommend from me.

I wanted To Love It
So I ordered a Wireless charger for my new Samsung s10 Plus and it really worked well for about a week. Then I noticed my charging would pause anytime I tried to use my Google Maps or Stream Music. I bought a different case for my phone thinking that might be the problem. But still had the same problem. I unplugged it and remounted the device on the other side of my steering wheel and the problems stopped for a week or so then started again. Not sure how the mounting would cause it to pause the charging, after about a month I noticed the vibration of the phone got so bad it was hard to even read the screen. So I tired tightening up the mounts as best I could and that seemed to help. but only for a few more weeks. then everything started sagging and vibrating again. Tried tightening it again and the plastic nut on the back cracked in half. sadly I was out of town when it happened and had to buy some super glue to try and fix it and it didn't help. I cant tighten it up enough to get it to even support my phone. So it looks like Ill be shopping for another wireless car mount. I really wanted to love this Charger.

Don't waste your money.
I got this because a wireless charger was recommended (since the plug-in power port is often the first thing to go bad on a new phone). I hate to say it, but it was a complete waste or money. If I put my phone on it to charge, and ONLY use Google Maps to trace out my route -- NO OTHER apps running -- by the end of about 2-2.5 hours, my phone will be completely DEAD. This charges so slowly, it cannot keep up with Google Maps alone. I wanted this for travel -- but it's useless for any lengthy travel.I can't even use it just to hold my phone and charge with a cord, because there is no way to use it as a holder without it also trying to charge. Plus, the ball socket that holds the actual phone in place flops around like a dead fish. No way to firm that up, so it holds a phone in a position in which you can read it.Oh -- and because it's so doggone SLOW in charging -- AND it stops charging and then restarts on its whim -- I keep having warning alerts about "slow charging" or "charging interrupted" show up on my screen, covering the map I'm trying to use. Another joy.Don't waste your money on this.

Further review it works as designed. Warning to S9, note 8 & 9 owners.
I am amending this review after a week of trial. The problem I was having is not because of the wireless charging base, usb c cable or port in wireless charger nor the supplied power supply. The unit charges as designed, but the Samsung S9, Note 8 & 9 owners will get a intermittent wireless charging pause being caused by the software in the Samsung phones. I placed a Samsung Note 8 that did not have any updates (due to being turned of on cell and wifi so no connectivity for updates) and it worked flawlessly. If I turned off the fast wireless charging option in the phones settings of my Note 8 and the phone did charge wirelessly without pausing or charging interruptions. The problem seems to be in the Samsung software thinking phones is overheating and turning off or interrupting wireless charging.I am using this product with a Galaxy Note 8, I have no problem using my home wireless charger with case, but this product starts to charge for a few seconds then disconnects. The problem might be in the USB C connection at the base of wireless charger. I will try to fix it, if not able to be corrected I will be returning this wireless charger.

Disappointing
Seemed like decent enough material and the arms worked as far as gripping the phone and releasing but never continually charged my phone. I tried repositioning it several times to ilsee if that was the issue, but it would charge for about 15 seconds and then stop then restart again. Every time it did this, my phone screen lit up, and it actually ended up draining my phone rather than charging it. I read all the excellent reviews but was so disappointed when it didn't work properly. I have a Samsung Galaxy S10, but I also tried it on my friend's phones which also have the same charging capabilities. Same result.
