I have an enormous collection of skincare and cosmetic products. I recently purchased an IKEA brand ALEX storage unit (just like every self-respecting YouTube skincare vlogger) and have been in search of organizers and/or dividers for the 9 drawers. This three compartment organizer works perfectly. It's fairly deep, but still fits comfortably in both the shallow and deep drawers of the ALEX. Each compartment is spacious enough for anything from lipsticks and small palettes to jars of night cream and bottles of serum.But this is versatile enough that it could serve many different needs. I can see this in the living room as a remote boat, by the door as a receptacle for cell phones/mail/car keys, or helping to organize the kitchen junk drawer.While it won't really be on display at my house, the tweedy grey fabric on the outside and the half moon cut-out on the front give it a very "minimal chic" style so you can certainly place this somewhere it will be seen. Underneath the fabric, I believe the box is constructed of very dense cardboard so it probably shouldn't be used anywhere it's likely to get wet, but overall this is a very functional and stylish piece that can be used for a multitude of storage needs.
