Top Notch Hard Adjustable Skate Guards - Colorful, Scented and Color-Changing Designs

This is my second pair of guard dog guards in one year. I bang my foot against the ground every time I put my skates on to make sure my foot gets nestled nicely into the padding in the heel of my skates. Unfortunately, I guess I do this so hard that I pierced a hole right through the back of one of the guards. I thought this was just a fluke, so I bought another pair but the same thing happened less than a month after I got them. Both sets are still usable, but wobble on the foot where the guard is damaged. The second pair I got were the color changing ones. The colors definitely don't change as drastically as they show in the photos. When I put them on a cold blade after skating, just the bottom part changes colors. I actually like this look thought because it's almost an ombre effect.

I just don't give a 5 star review because it is supposed to be a color-changing guardog and the color doesn't really change. The ice arena environment is not cold enough to change the color. After skating the ice skate's blade is still pretty cold, so when you put the guardog on it's the only moment you can kinda see it changing color, but I've never seen it completely blue (only when I put in the freezer to test it).The product is great, but not worth paying extra for the color-changing effect because it doesn't really work.

What more can I say these hard guards are birthday cake scented! Whaaaaaat! They make your whole skate bag smell like Funfetti Cupcakes! Such a clever yet vital piece of functionality because skate bags don’t smell like cupcakes lmao! They’re super cute, hard but soft plastic. My only complaint is the screw/spring attachment that holds each guard together can come apart kind of easily. Otherwise they’re everything you need in a hard guard.

Haven't tried it on my skates yet as it's still on transit. unlike other feedbacks the item was easy to assemble. Will update when my skates arrive. A bit disappointed that the color is not as expected.

Second pairs for us. But first pair on Amazon. Need a little bit measurements and cut. However, it's easy to cut and fit quite well on our youth size skate. Love the design. But the one really have a strong fruit smell.

Cute and easy enough to assemble. I chose scented ones by accident and can’t stand the strong smell but otherwise I love them.

Fit my sons goalie skates perfectly after cutting. Great for new arena protocols where players have to walk from parking lot to the rink. Added bonus they smell like a Caribbean rum punch, all his teammates line up to sniff his skates.

Fits Youth size 3 skate pretty well. Springs have decent tension to hold on to the skates. Satisfied so far.

Easy to use. They even got a strawberry smell. Lol
