Outstanding blending marker!
I was a bit skeptical about the blending marker but my goodness am I liking it! I have an awesome colored pencil antique truck in a barn I almost gave up on after working on it on and off for 3 years. It's completely smooth after blending as much as I thought possible and I just wasn't happy UNTIL I tried Prisma's blending marker. It breaks down the cp pigments so well that I can wipe away what I need to. Depending on how you use it, it also moved the pigment around perfectly to blend. Even though I'm using it to better my painting, I have no doubt I'll figure out how to use it strictly as a blender. It's such a great tool! After spending so many hours working on a masterpiece it's comforting to know that I now have one more tool in my arsenal to help me achieve perfection! The earasers are also very good tools I am never without. I shape my kneaded eraser into a teardrop which allows anything from thin lines for wisp's of hair, dabbing off tiny pinpoint imperfections of graphite accumulation on paper to being able to use the rounder end to pounce off larger areas to create highlight. I find myself holding it while drawing which makes it very pliable. The hard eraser was something I would never have purchased alone. I've actually enjoyed it's various benefits as well. It's easily cut to keep tight angles. Erases nicely and easy to clean.Being my darkest graphite is 4B, I doubt I'll use the ebony pencil but it's good to have on hand. The extender, is good quality.Overall this was a wonderful purchase which has afforded me new tools!

Great purchase!
The main reason I ordered this is because of the pencil extender. I couldn't find any locally (or rather, if I did, they were $20!) and any others I found online got bad reviews. So, I figured if this one didn't work for me, at least I'd get these other items, as I can always use a blender and I also needed a new kneaded eraser. And for the price, the blender alone was worth it!The extender worked great! I was taping (or trying) my stubs to other pencils, but not comfortable to use. And I wanted the extender because I have a few cp's that are very old and I cannot find a match, as they don't sell them anymore (Rose Art brights). Mine fit perfectly! I also use Prismacolor cp's, but the RoseArt brand fit great. The blender is awesome too, as I mostly use it with cp's. I love the smaller tip and it's not too small (I've had troubles finding blenders as well, and one blender I have the fine tip is VERY fine).AND on top of everything, I could not believe how well the sharpener works! I have 2 Prismacolor brand sharpeners and although for the most part they work great with my Prismacolor pencils, my RoseArt ones crumble with them. But this one is near perfect!I really don't need the other items that come with it, but what a great bargain. Any of these pieces alone would cost at least $5 or more purchased separately, so I couldn't believe the price and that's why I bought this package. So, I really scored!

Nice kit
It was less expensive buying these things this way and they are all quite useful. Nice starter set for colored pencil artists.

Nice little set!!!
Nice little set. Gives you a nice way to try a variety of different products that will add to your drawings...or coloring book pages. :)*Black pencil- I haven't used this....*Kneaded rubber eraser- good for picking up stray pigment flakes and making small corrections. Haven't used this much.*Plastic eraser- Haven't really used this with colored pencils. Does fine with graphite.*Pencil sharpener- it's a little small and takes some getting used to...always good to have a back up, right?*Pencil extender- I haven't needed this..yet..I will soon. Tip: If the pencil is not snug, wrap a bit of paper around the back end to tighten the fit. Tried this and it works tighten the fit, but haven't used the extender while coloring yet.*Colorless blender pencil- This will help blend colors and even out colors; destroys the tooth of the paper and is hard to add color after use. Tips-Requires quite a bit of pressure and lots of sharpening; brush off excess frequently; will lighten/wash out colors*Colorless Blender marker- This will help blend colors and even out colors; gets rid of the little white spots left from the tooth of the paper; does not wash out color like the colorless blender pencil. Tips- Make sure you have enough pigment on the paper (there is a solvent in the marker that breaks down the pigment; not enough pigment on paper= nothing to breakdown); keep trying it (it took me almost the whole marker to figure out how to use it and now I love it!); clean off tip after use by rubbing on scratch paper or cardboard until it runs clean (the tip might get stained with use but as long as you remember to clean it after each use, don't worry)
