Good shelving bookcase. I've have different shelving systems over my life and this one's good like the rest. I can more likely own this thing forever as long as I don't break it myself. It works for what I intended. The backer part (if used) is flimsy'ish material (like most or if not all shelving systems out there), so whatever you put on the shelves should not be pushed too terribly hard towards the back, or whatever you put on the shelves shouldn't rely much on the backer part to "stay propped up". I accidentally pushed something back kind of hard once and the backer sorta stayed "popped out" in shape and wasn't "laying flat" anymore because of the weight was pushing on it. The backer material is held in place with little nails that you basically hammer into the main wood on the edges. (I simply pushed the backer back in place and all is good now). Not sure if they sell a replacement backer part or not. Hopefully will never need one.

I wish these had one more shelf at the bottom, it's spaced a little awkward since the middle shelf is fixed. The color is nice and had the best packaging - all easy to open and recycle and sturdy - and the best instructions easy to follow. Little flimsy but these are cheaper bookshelves but exactly what I wanted for my small space

I have a smaller space that I had a shorter bookcase and wanted a taller one. This bookcase works very well. It's nice and well built.

If you need a inexpensive bookshelf for temporary purposes and the price is right, I suppose this item might work for you. However, it is made out of cheap particle board. Our unit came damaged with missing pieces and the instructions were not easy to follow (there are youtube videos online explaining how to assemble this piece of garbage though). This bookshelf held up for only a couple months. Upon trying to move it an inch, the very cheap particle board in the back collapsed on my 95 pound frame. I do not recommend this item to anyone unless you need it for temporary purposes (perhaps for staging a house or something like that).

Bought 2 for my husband's office. He loves them displays over 100 books easily.

Don't you dare have any weight on it when you barely budge the shelf. It will break.

This bookcase is perfect for my needs. Really enjoy having it.

Great beautiful bookcase!Heavy as heck, but the post man brought it up three flights of stairs not us so God bless that man.You need a mallet or hammer to put the back boards on, and a screw gun is helpful tooWe tried to be very careful with assembly to do it correct since once you nail the thinner backboard there’s really no going back, but we accidentally put the shelves on backwards. So the small trim on the ends is wrong on two of them which makes me want to die but hey that’s on us. It shows the light compressed wood chip stuff instead.I always love the ability to choose shelf height and it’s very durableAlso came with a thingy to attach from bookcase to wall to prevent it from falling but we were too lazy to do itSo good bookcase, but don’t be a dummy head like us
