Bigger, louder, crinklier, softer, than expected!
Your browser does not support HTML5 video. My dog was gifted a collection of used toys and he really likes a very long stuffed pig which, unfortunately, another dog that is a destructive chewer, totally destroyed. I decided to break down and buy him another long stuffed toy today and since he's always blissfully watching rabbits in the yard and neighborhood I chose the rabbit version. This thing is huge which is great for him- he's 62 lbs and 7 months old and only half grown. He loves it, it has multiple LOUD squeakers, lots of crinkly spots, and fun ears/legs to grab hold off. He's a big fan and it's made with K9 Tuff Guard which LASTS. Super soft and easy to wash.Update after 2 months- easy to wash and looks new after a washing. very durable so far, standing up to indoor and outdoor use. He is not a destructive chewer but whips them around, tramples on them, steps on them while running top speed and chomps on the annoying squeaker for hours. one squeaker has a hole and its tune is now slightly muted (thank god)

Destroyed in under an hour
I gave this three stars as our dog is a genius wrecking machine. She is a smart golden retriever, and attacks plush toys as if she is a hyena on the Serengeti stumbling on a day old kill. The budget off-brand toys typically last about 5-10 minutes. This lasted nearly an hour. And oh, the joy she had during that hour! She carried it in her mouth throughout the house, stopping only to pounce and shred during her hour long rein of terror wreaking plush-toy carnage. We don't blame the toy. That said, if your dog is a chewer and shredder and goes about wubbie disembowelment with Hannibel Lechter precision, then look at hard rubber toys, as this will be like flushing money down the drain.

Our Dog's Favorite Toy!
Our little Jack Russell/German Shepherd (yes, I know... LOL... he looks like a mini German Shepherd but has the attitude of a Jack) LOVES this toy. He normally tears toys to shreds and disembowels them immediately to get the squeaker out, but for whatever reason, these toys truly last! He's had another TUFF toy for 2 years and it's perfect, squeaks like the say we got it. Husband and I laughed at the name of this one, Charming Scruffles. Our brilliant yet tiny pup knows the names of his toys. We say, "Go get Charming Scruffles!" He will bipass all other toys and come trotting back with this guy squeaking it all the way. These are by far his favorite toys of all time!

Still not as tough as my puppy.
Puppy LOVES his pig, takes it everywhere! But as the mom of an aggressive chewer it needs a little design improvement. The pictures were taken after 3 hours of play. He already has one ear almost off and is working on the other. I would recommend changing "dangling" pieces to durable canvas or something similar. Will see how the rest holds up. It's a great toy, but does require you to supervise aggressive chewers. Update. One week in, both ears are gone and tonight he demolished the nose and proceeded to destuff it. NOT recommended.for aggressive chewers.

This is my cockapoo's favorite toy!
My cockapoo LOVES this toy. We play tug-of-war with it, squeak wars (it has 3 big squeakers), fetch (I whirl it over my head and she doesn't know where it will land until I let go), she chews on the hands and feet, snuggles with it, and drags it around with her. When it got dingy, I put in the washer (with some other laundry) with cold water on delicate cycle and a little downy in the rinse cycle, put it in the dryer on the lowest setting, and it came out fresh as a daisy and ready for action. When she is done playing, she falls asleep snuggled up against it. My furbaby just had surgery and I sent this toy with her as her comfort item. I wrap it around her and it helps to keep her calm. Great toy!

Small Sheep - big hit? Maybe.
Well, it took my 10-lb Yorkie approximately 14 seconds to dispense with the squeaker. The fabric/stitching has held up so far, but I only gave it to him about 35 mins ago. I will say I'm impressed that he still hasn't lost interest even though it's been squeaker-less almost that whole time. The current longevity record for any stuffed toy Elvis gets his paws on is about 4-5 months—this happened exactly once, and it was a cheapy! That I of course could never find again—so if this lasts longer than that I'll consider it worth the price.I am a bit concerned that the length/stringy-ness of the "wool" could cause a problem for a small dog, and from what I can tell of its smushed carcass through the fabric and stuffing, the squeaker could have potentially dangerous small components. Again, we'll see. I'll just keep a close eye on this little ruffian when he has it, and do my best to update this review accordingly.Three stars for now since the jury's still out on a few things!

What a toy!
Your browser does not support HTML5 video. This was a great size for a 6lb fur ball! It was thoroughly dog tested and approved. This toy is light enough to be carried around the back yard, into a crate and onto a bed. Has lasted for 2 months so far and the squeakers is still intact. It is Pink, it is a Pig, it is perfect!

Won't last forever, but my dog loves it
My dog, a 90 lb black lab, LOVES these toys. He does prefer the raccoon to the giraffe, but he likes them both a lot. I originally got the raccoon on clearance at Target when looking for a long toy he could play with while he was in a cone recovering from surgery (he likes to be able to hold toys between his front paws and mouth/chew on them, so none of our regular squeaky footballs were long enough for that). He loved it so much I had to find more, so I found this giraffe from the same line of toys. He's a destroyer and he has been able to put a few holes in these toys if I'm not watching him, but they're pretty easy to sew if they need patching. My mother-in-law's dog came over and made a hole so big that the squeakers and lining all came out, but I sewed it back up and it's almost as good as new. They definitely won't last forever, but they have lasted longer than other soft toys we've had in the past.
