sunsilkShampoo De - Frizz Curls

Really helps with the frizz
I have used Sunsilk Captivating Curls de-frizz shampoo, rinse and leave-in creme for the past 6 or 7 years, and these products have become increasingly difficult to find here in Florida. Last year when I couldn't find them, I tried both the Bedhead and Pantene brands, but neither was as effective at keeping the frizzies at bay. I also use a little L.A. Looks curl gel, comb my shoulder-length hair into place and scrunch it, and then let it air-dry whenever I have the time. The Sunsilk Captivating Curl products used to be even better before they changed the formula (don't they know if it ain't broke don't fix it?) but it's still pretty effective, and the only line of products that assures me of soft, shiny hair even on Florida's most humid days.

Ug, I guess it isn't for my hair type
First, let me say, I have the Sunsilk DeFrizz Curl cream and the cream and gel combined, and I LOVE both products. My hair is naturally wavy and often falls into loose curls with little-to-no trouble. My goal in using this shampoo was to use it just for when I planned on wearing my hair in the loose curl style when using the mousse and/or gel. I've tried this shampoo twice and was not the least bit impressed with the results. Let me re-say, my hair is naturally wavy/board line curly and takes very little to get the cute loose curls everyone loves. I just wash my hair, let it dry naturally (no blow drying) and while still a little damp use the moose and gel, and BAM curls, cute curls, at that....but when I combine my old routine with this shampoo, my hair has an oily unclean look. It just doesn't feel as clean as with my other shampoo and it hangs limply; maybe it will work for you, but it certainly doesn't work for me.

Okay as shampoo, didn't work on my frizz
After reading the enthusiastic product reviews for Sunsilk De-Frizz Shampoo, I had high hopes that this stuff would help control my frizzy mop. Alas, this was not the magic-in-a-bottle that I expected, and I'm back to using my previous shampoo. In my case, Sunsilk Shampoo worked satisfactorily to clean my hair, but didn't produce the de-frizzing effect I'd hoped for. Of course, each person's hair is different, so I'll continue the search for a shampoo that hits a home run for me: a product that smells good, cleans well, and really controls my frizz.

Sunsilk Shampoo De-Frizz Curls
I r e a l l y like this shampoo when I have a perm. It is the only shampoo that cuts back on the frizz and it does not has a conditioner in it. I highly recommend it if you have a perm.

MAgic!
I personally love this stuff, though i'm pretty sure it's different for everyone's hair. I have curly-frizzy hair, not that bad but it makes it silky smooth. :) Smells good too!
