Mr. Bar-B-Q 5-Piece Stainless Handle Barbeque Tool Set

I was searching for a BBQ tool set that provided length (I have a large grill and it can be difficult to reach across the entire surface) and quality. The Mr. Bar-B-Q 5-piece set not only met my requirements, but surpassed them while doing so at a great price.The tools are very sturdy, especially the ends. They are made of solid stainless steel and are great at turning items on the grill. The length of these tools should also meet just about anyone's needs. There are two downsides (or rather comments) about these tools. One, the stainless steel tool ends are very sharp. Even the edges are rough and can cut just about anything. They should have been rounded a bit more. I can understand having the knife and one end of the spatula sharp, but every end on every piece is this way. So be careful about scratching other surfaces or cutting items (or hands). Second, the handles are not nearly as sturdy as the rest of the tools. They are a bit cheaper.Overall, even with some of the downsides, I do recommend these tools. Great length and good quality, all at an affordable price.

As others have indicated,the tools are large......but if you have a decent sized grill, they are just right!!! The tongs work well and the spatula can be used to flip, cut, or tenderize. And they look great. The one negative is that if you don't have a traditional hook (as opposed to a knob) you can't hang up all of the tools. I have a Weber Genesis, and I had to buy hooks b/c my knobs were too large to hang the tools on....except the tongs. If I could change anything, I would include a case.Update - 3/20/2017: After several years of use these are still in action. However there are a few things to point out1. The tongs are horrible. Tough to use and hold food. I replaced them with this excellent pair -  OXO Good Grips 16-Inch Locking Tongs 2. My grill stays covered when not in use and these are hung inside the cabinet below the grill (away from element). Unfortunately some small spots of rust have started to form. I assume it is because of the low grade of stainless steel.3. I only really used the spatula and tongs from this set. I bought these along with a new grill, and mostly based on the reviews from others.Make no mistake - this is no cheap set of utensils! When they arrived, I couldn't figure out what the package was as I assumed it was too large to be BBQ tools.These are heavy, made of solid metal, clean up easy, and will get the job done - and then some!The spatula has a great design - if you look closely, you'll see it has one edge that is serrated - great for tenderizing steaks. I've had these for a few months now and they are holding up well on the grill and many trips through the dish washer.

I bought this set for my husband to go with the grill that I bought last year for him to replace a set with wood handles that was not dishwasher safe. I chose this set because it said in the description that it was dishwasher safe but when it came it says on the front of the package that it is to be hand washed only. I would not have bought it if it had not said dishwasher safe and I feel that it is wrong to advertise as something it isn't. However, the set was amazing and if it had been dishwasher safe as advertised I probably would have given it 5 stars.

I bought this set for my husband for Christmas but we are returning them. I was influenced by the reviews posted by others but found the "really big" comments didn't apply. They are just average size -- we actually felt the handles were too short to keep your hands away from the grill. The metal was overall lighter than we expected giving the tools an overall flimsy feel. They may have changed the manufacturing or materials but these were sub-par. The price of $25 is the what kept the star rating above a 2.

This was not a bad deal for the price. You can say goodbye to any burns on your hands, b/c using these tools your skin will never be near the hot grill. The handles are kind of chintzy though, they would not stand up to a brutal workload. The large size is extremely helpful for grilling.

I bought these for my brother for a Christmas gift. He is an ardent cook and grills outside all of the time. I have not seen the set yet but he called me as soon as he opened the box. He states they are perfect, they are heavy, big and great for for doing some really serious grilling. He loves them. According to my brother, the grill miester, they are great especially when he heard the price.

I got the grill set for my fiance b/c he really needed some decent grilling tools. Wow, these babies are big! They are good quality and an excellent buy for the price. The only comment I have is that they are so big, it was hard to find a suitable home for them i.e. you probably can't just shove them in a drawer in your kitchen. He's very pleased and I'm happy that I made a good selection
