These were quickly. wrapped and taken to our friend's new house as a house warming gift.She was delighted.A waxy covering stopped them looking like plastic candles.Once switched on they looked very realistic.The remote is very useful, in that you can put the candles in more out of the ways places and turn them off and on without being able to reach the switches.They help create a very cosy atmosphere.

We burn through a lot of candles in our house so rather than keep buying and replacing we thought we try out these faux candles.First of all, they have two lighting modes, light which is just a solid static light or candle which causes the small metal fake flame on the top to rock back and forth which gives a very believable look of fire. What's great about the candle mode is that that it also has a slight sound which mimicks the slight crackle of a candle wick. I can't state enough how impressed I am with the candle mode - it very very closely resembles a real candle both visually and how it sounds.The candles themselves have a good weight and very surprisingly for me they actually feel waxy and candle-like rather than plastic. The 3 different heights are great and allow for nice looking arrangements.They each take 2AA batteries each which haven't ran out despite heavy use for around a month.The remote itself is small and compact and generally works well. The timer works perfectly, as does the mode switch (light and candle) and the off button. However the on button for some reason requires 3 or 4 presses for the candles to actually turn on as you can see in my video. All candles react to the remote.I'm very happy with this purchase and now have the candles inside some nice rustic candle surrounds which add to the realism even more.I definitely recommend this for anyone who goes through a lot of candles or who would like real candles but cannot due to pets, young children etc.

A safe alternative to real candles in a holiday let. Instant illumination in case of a power cut and attractive ornament.

Not what I was looking for and the remote didn't work, although maybe damaged in transit. They look nice enough but there are better, I was looking for a moving flickering flame effect and these aren't, it's fixed. I've ordered some better ones and will keep these as a background.

Utilizado en un evento, para dar ambiente romántico. 100 de 100 han funcionado, lo cual es sorprendente. Dan una luz tenue y bonita, titilante. Desconozco si cumplen con la duración de la pila, pero durante las horas que necesité que estuviesen encendidas, lo estuvieron todas.Un consejo, tened cuidado con la patilla de encender y apagar, si se te resbala el dedo puedes hacerte un raspón ;).

The media could not be loaded. Je recherchais justement ce genre de déco pour mettre sur ma table basse du séjour et je suis contente du résultat, justement ce que je voulait , fonctionne très bien et c'est chaleureux, je recommande ces ensemble de 3 bougies

Funzionano bene e fanno una bella luce calda 'tremolante' che simula una vera fiammella. Consigliati.
