Spinner eSpin Commercial Spin Bike by Mad Dogg Featuring One Million Customizable Rides

The bike is not working properly as there is a problem with the clutch as the pedals slip when you are standing. We are unhappy with the purchase and there are no local technicians that can fix it properly. I feel there is poor support for this bike and I would not recommend it or Mad Dogg Athletics to any of my friends, family or business associates. These bikes are supposed be tuned properly before they are shipped. I feel that I did not get the value for what I paid for this bike.

I ride this bike at my local 24-hour Fitness. I can't tell you how much I LOVE this bike!! If you have a Polar heart rate strap, then it tracks your heart rate. It also keeps track of your RPMs, distance, calories and speed. The preset workouts are really good (I love the interval training workout). I am 4' 10" and can ride this bike very comfortably, but I've seen tall, tall people also ride it- so it's flexible that way. The flywheel is heavy enough to give really good resistance, which can give you a real kick-butt workout if you so desire. The media system is amazing- if you have an iPhone you can charge your phone and listen to your music at the same time. You can also put a playlist onto a flash drive or any other device that can be connected via USB port and listen that way. The one at my gym is also gets some TV stations (I don't really like to watch TV while I'm working out, so I don't use this feature- sorry I can't be more helpful about it).So the cons are: 1) bluetooth seems to interfere with the heart rate feature. I listen to my music via bluetooth headphones and often have to put my phone behind me to get both features. A little bit of an inconvenience, but I think if you're using this at home, it would be simple enough to have a table nearby to put the phone on. 2) This bike (and keep in mind that the bike I use at the gym is a few years old so this might not apply anymore) only accommodates the iPhone. I have a Samsung Galaxy and with the case on, it doesn't fit in the slot for the iPhone. That being said, maybe they have changed this since the new iPhone is bigger. However, there is still the issue that the sound system won't work with my phone. Since I use bluetooth headphones, this isn't a deal breaker for me either. 3) at the gym I see these bikes pulled off the floor for repairs a lot. Again, for the home user I don't think this would really apply, since it's not being used several times a day, everyday.In closing I would just like to say that these bikes are the ONLY reason I keep my 24 Hour membership active. If I buy one of these for myself, I will most likely be quitting the gym.

This bike is soooo awesome. I wish I had the cash to blow on this. But I don't. So I just want to say, don't hold back. Jeff Bezos needs more of your money than he has already got. Take the plunge and buy this bike!
